They knew it was a bad idea to trade him and they did it anyway they didn't think the Hurricanes would trade him a month later much less to Dallas.
Florida looks unbeatable so far Stars/Oilers is probably going 6 or 7 to be honest Stars are fortunate its tied because Oilers have been the better team in 5 of the 6 periods so far. Out of these 3 losses in the WCF I think last year is the one they let get away they are up 2-1 and have the lead early in game 4 lose that game and the next 3 and series was over. Vegas just manhandled them in that series it was 3-0 before Stars won a game. This year Oilers outplayed them 2/3 peiods in the Stars only win and if the Oilers didn't commit three dumb penalties in a row it would have been a sweep. Its crazy on paper this was the Stars best team of the 3 and they played the worst in the WCF. I could see them making some major changes just to shake up the locker room and these Jason Robertson rumors that have been floating since the loss last week could be that type of move.
