    12. Houston Rockets (via PHX): Thomas Sorber | 6-10 big | 19 years old | Georgetown

Sorber has a foot injury that required surgery in recent weeks and is expected to miss a substantial portion of the pre-draft process. And yet there are evaluators who are seriously excited about his prospects this year and think he should come out. He averaged 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a freshman big man, shooting 53 percent from the field. He’s extremely versatile. He’s good on defense and consistently in the right places. He’s very disruptive with his hands, averaging two blocks and 1.5 steals per game. His passing from the top of the key was electric for Georgetown this season, as the Hoyas often used him to find cutters toward the rim from out high. But Sorber will be a bit undersized for the center position, and scouts have noted that while he’s done a great job working on his frame after being a bit heavier earlier in his high school career, he still doesn’t quite have great athleticism to account for it. The skill set is real though. Sorber will likely at least test his draft stock this year. I haven’t talked to anyone recently who has him outside of the first round from the NBA team side, and the teens seems to be the popular landing spot. The Rockets would be a fascinating fit, as he’d allow the team to have a good defender behind Alperen Şengün who also can do similar things as a passer even if it’s not quite to the same level as the Turkish All-Star.

    58. Houston Rockets (via Oklahoma City): Sion James | 6-5 guard | Duke

After all the agita in this thread, we dropped 2 spots because of this trade.

That Mavs pick doesn’t look so good anymore.

The difference between 8 and 10 in this draft is negligible because it’s not a good draft outside the top two guys.

The Mavs and Spurs add possible franchise players and the Rockets confirmed they lack a franchise player.

Let’s see what the Rockets do this off season. I hope they trade the pick for future picks.

I don’t know what agita means, but I’ll assume it means what I think it means.

Yep. There's probably not much point in keeping this pick.

What a brutal day for the rockets. We had these premium assets 6 hours ago: Suns 25, suns 27, nets 27, suns 29, mavs 29. Now the suns 25 is nothing, mavs 29 (which IMO was our best single asset) is basically nothing, that's 40% of our treasure chest gone in 30 minutes.

It's 4 years away. This time last year the 2025 PHX pick didn't look so well either.

It's exactly the 10th pick, the 1st pick is also a "top 10 pick". I know you like to troll but you don't have to ALWAYS say this kinda nonsense just to say it.

Dude, just stop. If you think today was good, idk what to tell you. The 10th pick is not worth much. Would you even trade someone like Tari for the 10th pick? let alone a legit starter.

The Rox were projected 9th what did you expect?

And yes 10th picks are worth a lot. Its called a LOTTERY pick for crying out loud.

You are the troll here acting like 10th picks arent good. Where were Sengun, Tari and Cam picked again? Half our core were picked way past 10. Keep crashing out you funny AF.
