    @adoo the republican bill repeals all the energy subsidies in the IRA which had led to record manufacturing growth and over 900+ new factories being built

    Sometimes you sincerely have to wonder if Trump is working for the CCP. Incompetence at the highest levels

    It's silly to think that this will lead to billions saved. Sure, you cut people from the program now, but now health issues will not be detected early enough, so we just get to see people end up in the emergency room racking up expensive treatment only because we didn't detect earlier. So ultimately it really is a tax on the middle class because we know those without insurance can't afford the crippling debt that comes with ER treatment, nor will the hospital simply write it off. Hooray for us middle class folks carrying the load of having to pay higher insurance premiums because the hospital's jacked up prices.
