I don't believe you criticized Jalen Green for every single bad game. If you did, then you wouldn't blame everything on Ime or Sengun. JOFs like to act like they are objective about these things but they aren't. You treat Jalen as if his play is not his fault. Instead of being insulting or passive aggressive, you could just try to discuss with someone who doesn't agree with you. Instead, you get whiny or argumentative. You are getting high strung and it's annoying. We can blame Jalen and Ime. You are very clever in your wording, I hope to be as smart as you one day. Until then, I recognize that Jalen is responsible for his play. I'm not dumping than on Ime or Sengun or whoever. I haven't read through to find your prediction about mid 30s but I have watched the video of Jalen's shots in the playoffs. Very few of these are "contested jumpers." I see a lot of drives where he either can't get by STEPH CURRY or puts up a pretty open jumper and misses it. Again, he looked great in game two because his shooting was hot. I suggest you watch the video again if you think he was "resigned to taking many contested jumpers."
Well, you're wrong and being obtuse about it. I criticized Jalen Green for every single bad game he had in the playoffs. So if you want to be mad at your imagination about me, go ahead. I guess that's what's fueling you. Yes of course in adult world, it's possible to apportion blame. Oh you didn't read through my prediction and you didn't notice my criticisms so ANYWAYS LET'S IGNORE AND JUMP TO SOMETHING ELSE. Hahahaha Nice and convenient. In your last paragraph, you are just flat out lying after deflecting everything. You did not see "a lot" of drives where he couldn't get by Curry, you saw a few drives where he didn't try because the coach told him not to drive into crowded areas. You are flat out wrong about game two, the HC said it's because they stopped doubling him. You ready for me to lift your skirt completely now? Here's you in October admitting to what you're denying right now: Here you are criticizing the offensive coaching: Here you are being completely wrong about our shooting, Brooks and Jalen ended up the better shooters than Jabari and FVV: Here you are unwittingly admitting we need spacing: Here you are admitting that Amen being in the starting lineup is unsustainable for our shooting: Here you are with the dumbest solution on the board: Now take your sh*t and GTFOH. Try it with someone your own age.
There's no need to get this upset. You should probably work on your anger. This is just a message board after all. But I know your anger isn't because of what I've said that's wrong. You know that I and others are right in that Jalen has a ceiling and it's not what you dream it is. Instead of admitting that, you lash out. That's fine. I can rewatch the Jalen video and give you time stamps with every time he had an open look or couldn't get past one guy. He drives to the lane and help comes over and he crumbles. I'm sorry, but that happens to every player who drives the lane, Rockets, Warriors, etc. Jalen looked like he had never seen a double team before. Don't get me started on the shooting bricks he is moderately open or wide open for many shots and missed them because he was mentally shook. None of your whining changes that.
Inefficient Ant-Man at 28 pts thru 3 quarters. Absolutely burying the Warriors who seemingly aren't blitzing/trapping/taking him out of the game. They must've just feared Jalen Green that much more.
yo where is the dunker’s spot on the court? Can you tell me where it is? Maybe you can shed more light on this and whether Amen scores from this area on the court?
Are you really following @Downtown Sniper around in threads asking if he knows the dunker spot? I just saw you say this kn another thread I was viewing a few minutes ago. That's creepy and obsessive breh.
nope. I asked a question the guy hasn’t answered. Seems like you’re following me closely that l’s creepy bruh
Well when someone asks a random off topic question in a thread "wheres the dunker spot", replying to someone who didnt say anything about that, and then 2 minutes later you see that exact same question in another thread to the same poster who said nothing about a dunker spot, it sticks out.
Yeah i want to know where the dunkers spot is. Now you’re the one obsessed with me sending me back to back messages when I could care less about your posts or thoughts
I love you always retreat into "oh it's not a big deal" after you make it a big deal and get called out. Once I've pointed out you're a total hypocrite, you make it about feelings lol I knew 2 weeks before the playoffs what efficiency he'd shoot, and I know how many missed shots that is. I saw Steph Curry miss open shots too, but I know not to jump to conclusions on those. In fact Steph Curry missed over 100 wide open shots this season *gasp* I guess that's a bad mark on his career!! Stop moving the goal posts. Your credibility is shot. All you're doing is trolling. You have already admitted the offensive coaching is not good and this team should have 4 shooters around Sengun. To now act like there's no spacing issue when we talk about Jalen is a joke.
I honestly hope that if we move on from Jalen Green his fanbois will immediately leave to follow him. It would be a win for the team and the fanbase.
I'm obsessed with you for replying to your reply of me? Am I following you around in random threads asking the same question?
Try to calm down. This isn't a big deal. Spacing matters but is not the reason Jalen is limited. He's not a good enough shooter. Everyone on this board knows this except for you, two others, and the recently departed Coach Fchow. Spacing won't help Jalen get by Steph Curry. It won't fix his ability to brick a wide open 3 pointer. JOFs refuse to change their expectations of what Jalen can be as a player. And when he doesn't reach their top 10 player in the league status they will just say his career was held back by X. Math-You say you are so objective about Jalen's playoff performance. Tell me what he did well and what he did poorly. Was our loss in the series on Jalen being a nonfactor for six games or on something else. How do you think Jalen will do statwise next year?
Just google it and it shows it is at both sides by the baseline....no need to pull an expert here. Spoiler
You're always going to have people who defend their favorite player, but it seems like some people are obsessed. Before the all star break when Jalen was stinking it up. There were post, that were almost a 2 page essay on how they were glad Jalen didn't make the all star team so he could get rest and defending his poor play and shooting efficiency. It was kind of annoying, because if you have that much time to write a 2 page essay on a forum, it's crossing the line of obsession. It's like texting a date a long, well thought out reply to "What are you doing this weekend? " I'm just saying. I wish Jalen Green well as long as he is on the Rockets, but you will never change my mind of how soft he is.
You are starting to get unhinged. Take a breather. I know you don't like being told this is not a big deal but you're the only one here who thinks it's a big deal. Jalen is kind of an average SG in the NBA. Accept it. I don't understand how I'm moving goal posts but whatever. I have said that team needs shooters to succeed. But the the thing JOFs won't understand is that Jalen needs to be one of those shooters. When people point this out, it's all about how Sengun needs to shoot 3's or Amen can't shoot. NO. The one who needs to shoot 3's best is our SG and our PG. Spacing is just an excuse for "Jalen can't make a wide open shot." Here's the beginning. I don't have time to type "Jalen can't get by Steph and settles for a bad fall away jumper" or "Jalen gets by his defender to the rim and is blocked by Draymond" all day. He was also blocked at least twice on three point attempts this series. From the Jalen all 86 shots video: Gm1 1st Q 8:45 Jalen blows by Kuminga on a crossover. Takes a layup up against Draymond and gets blocked. 7:37 Jalen can't get by Steph Curry. He is taller than him but has to settle for an ugly looking, leaning back shot at the FT line (probably a good shot if not ugly). Brick 4:02 Single coverage against Payton. Drives into the lane (there are defenders there!!!) and does a nice looking reverse layup that scores. 2nd Q 5:05 Shoots a 3 guarded by Curry. Brick 1:51 Drives by Curry into Draymond. Blocked at the rim by Draymond. :37 Jalen tries to drive by Kuminga and can't. Takes a weird, falling back jumper from the FT line. Brick 1.3 Payton on him. Green shoots a leaning back 3. Brick. NONE of these shots were double covered. Some were funneling Jalen into Draymond which is what every player would face against GS. In two shots, someone flashed like they might double Jalen but then went back to their man. 2nd Q 11:26 Jalen misses a FT and scores on a layup from a nice pass from Brooks. 10:52 This is classic Jalen. Gets a pick at midcourt to get by his man. Draymond is in the lane and has to backpedal as he's the only person between Jalen and the basket. Jalen is probably going about 80% full speed, driving at a backpedaling Draymond. Blocked by Draymond at the rim. 3rd Q 9:42 Sengun misses a shot and he rebounds and kicks out to Jalen. Wide open 3. Brick 4thQ 11:38 Adams passes to Green. A WIDE OPEN 3. Brick Amen rebounds and passes to Jalen who drives from the 3 point line. He blows by Steph for a wide open layup that....bricks. 8:23 Drives by Payton and gets to Draymond in the lane. Every team that plays against the Warriors will get to Draymond in the lane, that's how they play D. Blocked at the rim by Draymond or Payton. 2:05 Drives past Kuminga for a WIDE OPEN jumper at the elbow. Brick :59 Drives by Kuminga. Draymond is there but Jalen scores a layup around him.
JOF's going full Linbreds is not something I expected. One day they will be gone just like the Linbreds were. "We were all at fault" is the new age equivalent of that one Jeremy Lin article where Harden won the game but Jeremy Lin made the "game winning pass". At least I'll give Lin this. He was the reason we lost Game 5 vs the Blazers but wasn't complete diarrhea on the court for nearly the entire series like Jalen was.
