No one will be unhappy with that. The market was booming before Trump started meddling. What people really want is stability, something that will never happen with Trump. Let’s see if Trump accomplishes all his stated goals. Create more manufacturing jobs, lowering prices, reduce the trade deficit, raise money through tariffs, stop the flow of fentanyl. If he can do those things, then he is a real miracle worker. Don’t hold your breath.

 

I've heard the entire time that the China tariffs were meant to decouple the US from China. Now Trump's saying they don't want to decouple.

Not to take any sides in this argument on eggs, but I do believe the avian flu had a major part to play in all of this.
The new chicks are approaching maturity so prices will continue to fall unless there is another outbreak.
Now, Trump should never have said prices would come down once he took office.
That is a statement that can only bite you in the butt. If prices fall no one talks about it, but if they remain high, folks have the receipts.

Promise less and over deliver is the way to make yourself look good, not making promises on things that are out of anyone's control.
