He's 23.. I think you're being a tad harsh on the guy who literally transformed into one of the best defenders in the league in a single season.

Here's hoping this offseason is when he puts the outside touch to work.

When you're diving in the weeds of Jalen fans, common sense goes right out the window.

That's why they've now witnessed FOUR. STRAIGHT. YEARS. witnessing Jalen, and somehow come to the conclusion he's a star.

It's best you just point and laugh at them instead of frying a few of your own brain cells trying to comprehend their stupidity.

I don’t think the offense is really suited for anyone right now. The entire system needs to be overhauled imo. I think Green and Sengun can fit into a system if it is ever more defined.

I think Jalen is a more well rounded player than I ever thought he would be. He is a positive defensive player and does do the little things on both ends of the court now. If he doesn’t end up being. #1 scoring option, I think he has at least improved himself in a way that will give him a long NBA career without being a #1 option.

Sengun has to shoot better. His shooting percentages in the playoffs just were not good enough. He lost some of his touch over the last year and I don’t know why that is.

I am fine moving forward with both players, but I’d like someone like Kevin Durant to be added. A new offense with a new #1 scorer would be ideal. Would open things up for Jalen and Sengun

I did not compare anything. You should ask this of those rabid fools that got riled up by my statements. Please read the thread. I simply made the statement that Edwards has struggled with this defense much like Green as Warriors have employed the same trapping and zone schemes and yesterday I posted that he was still struggling at the time I posted. This is substantiated with facts. But it was met with hate and accusations. As I have posted numerous times on this site, the Rockets offense and personnel makes it difficult to dribble drive and is vulnerable to these traps and zones and likely Edwards would have struggled. No one compared anything but the hordes of ignorant rabid haters did not care to read, comprehend, or accept this due to their hatred of a player, assumptions, and ignorance of the game. When the opposition does not care for details or facts there is no point to further discuss.

    HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

    That's hilarious.

If that was true, wouldn't a guy who the entire world knows has no jump shot, would find it even more difficult than Jalen to drive and get caught in the traps and zones?

*insert pathetic Jalen excuse #23987293 as to why it's different Amen could do it but Jalen couldn't.

Don't you get sick of just embarrassing yourself time and time again?

Now you victimize yourself and the others are rabid haters.......suits you.

Hatred for someone who is a nobody in NBA terms.... who had a few seasons because Stone handed him the franchise.

they do not understand this. Somehow they think Ant man would run through 3 zone defenders or a trap when he hasn’t shown he was able to in these 3 playoff games. Much of his scoring was im the 4th or late in the 4th after an entire 3 quarters of struggle. And most of his scoring was one on one man press not against a trap or zone.

    Oh the absolute utter irony.

This is literally how Jalen puts points on the boards so often hahahaha.

My god there's just no level Jalen clowns will go to try to hype their failure and clown on a (infinitely) better player.

It's fascinating, the common trait that Jalen clowns seem to have, that they share the same room level temperature IQ and basketball awareness that Jalen does.

Quick to respond which shows me you did Not spend much time reading, comprehending, or critically think.

If you were intelligent and humble you would know I was specifically talking about Edwards in this series and I was specifically talking about how Warriors play him. And I was specifically talking about how players cannot magically run through a zone with 3 players in the paint. You addressed none of this. Instead you brought up more conjecture saying this is how jalen scores. When you start a sentence with this is literally it usually means its not literally lol. I said nothing comparing their scoring.

I said nothing about the regular season. The conversation is about how Edwards has struggled against the Warriors and how they have played him. But yet you and your ilk can’t get it through your head. If you disagree with this then logically state why with examples instead of assumptions and statements not backed by anything? I have said nothing about Green being great so once again another assumption.

Stick to the specific topic. Stop assuming. I know it’s hard for you. If you can’t do not open your mouth.

I victimize nothing. I suit nothing. Do not assume anything about me. My statements backed with facts and analysis against those consistently on the attack with not much thought. This is the history and legacy of these people. And your statement perfectly sums up some of this hate. You and your ilk hate because you think he does not deserve anything.

I'm gob smacked by how utterly stupid you are.

I replied to a comment - you've now gone off on a tangent trying to claim the high ground meanwhile spewing utter garbage which has nothing to do with the comment I bolded.

Hopefully you aren't so brain dead that you can take your own advice - stick to the specific topic.

Good lord. You lot sure don't do yourselves any favours in making people second guess ignoring your low IQ terrible takes.

Your response is the perfect example of what I discussed here in terms of lack of critical thinking and just lack of knowledge of the game you are watching.

Clearly you only see men running around shooting and dunking and not much else when you watch. But great question!

Amen does not score in the same areas as Green. He scores from short corner dunkers spot. He gets putbacks and fast break layups. He also scores from dribble drive from time to time.

He was not doubled or trapped in the Warrriors series. They rotated the ball weakside and he got the ball at the wing or elbow spot to drive. He also drove top of the key or wing on one on one situations but on most drives he had to pass. He had 1 good game successfully scoring from the dribble drive which is game 3. He had some success in game 7. But again he much like Green he had to pass out of from dribble penetration.

If they trapped or blitzed him almost every possession there is little doubt he would be able to impact much on the dribble drive.

This is how I know you don’t understand what you watch. Quite sad. Maybe you will get there one day.

Thanks though for your thoughtful question

Let me reiterate - I am absolutely gob smacked at your absolute insane stupidity.

Did you watch any game in the playoffs? To claim Amen was scoring from the dunkers spot is the most insane thing I have possibly ever seen on Clutchfans.

You try so ridiculously hard to try to sound smart and as if you know what you're talking about.

But you are literally one of the dumbest posters on this entire forum. This very comment solidifies that, I cannot get over just how wrong someone can possibly be, yet speak so matteroffactly.

I am getting so much second hand embarrassment from just reading your post, the fact you actually believe what you say is sheer lunacy.

I suggest you go and watch every single minute of the series against Golden State.

Take off your Jalen coloured glasses, you might be amazed at just how idiotic you sound.

Amen scored from short corner dunker spots, putbacks and fast break layups..... I genuinely cannot tell whether you're flat out troll mode or you literally are brain dead.

... are you a full toolbox in the toolshed?
