It’s 2025 and there are still JG cultists. You gotta admire the dedication. The thing is no one wants to discuss JG in depth cause he doesn’t really deserve it anymore. Everyone without an obsession has moved on. At some point as tough as it is stans have to understand people mock or hate them not Jalen, but the levels of delusion that they are representing or embodying Jalen are so high I doubt it. Grown man obsessing this much over a 22 year old rich guy is also a bit cringe, ngl. It’s like their Korean boy band moment.

Great then do not respond or read my posts if that’s the case. And if they or you do then come with facts and knowledge and thoughtful discussion. What you feel or think with nothing to back up doesn’t cut it.

Example I specifically said 4 out 1 low block. 5 out on permeter. No big on high post or elbows that offense runs through. This gives Edwards more 1-1 opportunities. What I get in return is nothing that addresses this but mere insults and conjecture. Come with knowledge or understanding of what you talk about or don’t come here at all.

The dumb thing about this is I never even said Green was great or had a great series. I simply said there’s nuances and layers to this and not a simple box score. If you dispute this then you have not paid attention and it is pointless for me to sit here to this with them and their ilk

There is no doubt that the offense we run does not fit Jalen - but he isn't good enough to demand an offense be build for him.....

Same can be said for Sengun....we have two pretty good players whose games don't fit each other, but no great ones.

nope I said nothing about Green being great did I? My post was about Edwards. And if you and your ilk have moved on from discussions about Green then why does his name still come out of your mouth and in your posts?

as most of my posts addresses it is about bias in how you and your ilk see the game harshly judging one guy while giving a pass to other players. I have defended multiple players including Bari, Holliday, and Eason.

Judgement, bias and hate for one player without much critical analysis. This has been the case for years here on this fan site and continues to be

You totally miss the fact that Edwards is a far better player than Jalen Green ON PURPOSE in your weird little posts. its what's most hilarious about you. It means you know that you're wrong but you keep posting anyway. In every post you make about Edwards you act like him and Jalen are on equal levels. Its so beyond delusional that Im starting to wonder if you have mental health issues. Because you know you're wrong and you keep doing it. Last night you were proven wrong and instead of acknowledging it like a grown mentally capable man you say at some point during the game you w ere right. Because you are incapable of doing the adult thing. Its sooo childish. You have the disposition of a gay teenager obsessed with Jalen Green but I know youre a grown man, ITS WEIRD. Youre weird. Nothing wrong with being gay teen but being a grown man obsessed with a young man like this gay or not is ****ing weird. you are a borderline stalker. Im actually scared for Jalen and I hope he never meets you.

Jalen has had two different coachs in two different systems. its not our coach. its not his teammates. its not the ball boys fault, it is no one but Jalen's fault that he sucks. you were just proven wrong about Edwards and the Warriors being able to stop him and you totally ignored being wrong and started whining about how im an instigator lol I guess because I called you out on your bullshit. You are an idiot and a b**** of the highest order. I logged in today because I enjoy seeing you be wrong and scramble for answers and excuses day after day after day. get a life man. being this obsessed with a young man especially at your age is weird. its ****ing weird.

Sengun might be. Don't know yet. There is much to build on. Both him and Amen have Top 20 and 10 potential. Sengun is probably a Top 25 player already. His performance this year was erratic but he did great in the playoffs considering it was his first showing.

    Jalen just sucks.

What exactly is the argument here? That Edwards is a better player than Jalen? I think we all know that. Edwards is an all nba player, all star starter, and a top 10 nba player. What are we trying to accomplish by comparing the two?

Nope, Sengun's shortcomings will stop him from reaching that top tier, he is a good player, the only path for him to greatness is in 3pt shooting, if he can't do that, he is what he is.....

It was disappointing that he didn't get better at that this year.

The argument is whether or not the rockets performance on offense would have been better or the same with ant instead of jalen based on how GS defended jalen. Some say ant would not have done any better, some say he would have.

I must have missed that. Someone thinks we would still lose the series if you did a 1 for 1 swap of Jalen for Ant?

Yes, that exact wording has been said by several people.

At this point, I don't think anybody is changing anyone else's mind about Jalen--he is as polarizing as ever, if not more so. I think the most important thing to remember is that regardless of whether or not the poster is pro, anti, or apathetic towards Jalen...it's not like we as fans have any power to trade and/or to keep him anyway. So a lot of the really personal back-and-forths don't make a ton of sense to me.

I assume we are all Rockets fans first, and if Jalen stays, we'll still be Rockets fans and likewise if he's gone. I'm down on how Jalen performed in the playoffs. But come the next regular season I'm almost certain I'm going to be giving optimistic takes about him as always because I genuinely like the kid and I hope he does well because if he plays well, the Rockets generally play better.

Besides ******** on each other online, we pretty much have zero power unless one of you wonderful posters out there is Patrick. In which case, please give me free season tickets, thanks <3

Ant would've done infinitely better. He's a way better player

Lol try talking to a wall and it says....you hate Jalen therefore everything you say is naught.

And then imagine the face of Stephen A Smith/said erratic voice.

Obviously, i understand that. How they are defended makes no difference, in any situation if you replace a player with a better one your team is better.

The point was you switch Ant with JG in Ime system and he does no better …Ime gameplan was draw 2 and get off the ball to Alpi or Amen in the paint

anyone trying to make it any more than that is stupid

You put JG in Minn offense with Minn coach and he not taking 8-11 FGA a game .. and the Rockets wouldn’t end up with 18-25 3pt attempts in multi games like we playing 90s basketball

Your perception is just as bad as your basketball takes.

No. I don’t hate Jalen Green. I hate posters like you who hold their basketball opinions in such high regard and constantly act like anyone who thinks differently than your precious opinions lacks some knowledge of the game that your genius mind comprehends at a higher level than anyone else’s.

The posts of yours and a couple other leaders of the Jalen defense squad lately are starting to read like a fchowd level meltdown might be incoming.

    Be well.

Lots of talk about Jalen. I agree with Gil. I want to see how Jalen reacts to this playoff experience before I actively search for a replacement. If I great deal is offered that’s one thing, but I don’t think we need to be eager to move him until at least next Feb.

I think it's hard to really judge because we don't know how other front offices (with stuff we want) actually view Jalen right now. If his value over contract is zero or in the negative, then maybe you're selling low and there's a real chance you can do better at the trade deadline or the following offseason. In that case maybe you want to wait and see before making any rash decisions.

If there are front offices out there who like him and will give us a decent value right now, though, I'm moving on.
