He will go in the 3-7 range. I'd trade Jalen to get him.

He won’t make it to #9 but he fits what we need.

You’d have to trade Jalen for him to get him in the lineup. Ime won’t play him otherwise.

He might fall due to body language issues similar to Cam.

He can shoot it. Would be a nice addition in that regard. He's kind of one-dimensional though, not a great passer or defensive player. His comp is Cam Thomas, if that tells you anything

Sam Vecenie is high on Tre and has a great discussion of him at 54:55 in this video. One of the things he says is, "He is nowhere near Cam Thomas, which is where I thought he might be earlier in the year."

So did Reed Sheppard, not falling for this again... Get Durant or a proven player.. Trade draft pick for a proven shooter ..

I think both Johnson and Knueppel are solid trade up candidates. Both have good size and can shoot. I just have no idea how much it would take to move up from, say, 9 to 5. Our two 2027 FRPs feel too valuable to sacrifice in such a trade. Would y'all, saying, trade 9 and Cam for 5?

Reed will probably still end up being a good shooter, just hard to expect much from a 20yo rookie; Jabari also struggled with his outside shot until nearly the end of his rookie season, when he finally started to figure it out.

Maybe we'll end up dealing the pick--we'll see. Do not want 37yo KD though, unless it's for a bargain bin price.

It's Durant we are talking about, unlike the past older players are finding ways to stay in the game and be productive. Look at Curry, LeBron, Harden, Kawhi and Durant amongst others...

No I don't want to overpay for Durant but he is still a beast and exactly what The Rockets needed this post season. Replace Green with Durant and this series would have been over in 5 and currently 2-0 over twolves...

At this point I think Cam + 9 to move up sounds good. Id target either Johnson or Edgecomb as Jalen replacements.

Father Time comes for everyone, even the greats

He doesn't play any defense anymore, either

What would you prefer? Jalen's defense or Durant's offense?

You do know that he avg over 20 ppg and only 40 players did that this yr. Less than 10% avg 20 ppg

I like Tre a lot and considering where we will likely be picking ive wondered why he hadnt gotten more attention around here.

He hasnt been good defensively (like a lot of these guys) but hes got the tools to improve on that end.
