Curry getting hurt right after eliminating us... THIS after the following events: 2018 Chris Paul hamstring injury in Western Conference Finals and the Game 7 Brick Fest 2020 Danuel House expulsion from the bubble 2020 Rockets hire Stephen Silas 2021 Pistons beating us in the lottery for Cade Cunningham - we get Jalen Green 2022 Rockets extend Kevin Porter Jr. 2023 Eric Gordon stops having fun 2024 Boban leaves? 2025 70.0 FT% in the playoffs
Tilman Fertitta Jalen Green It's quite obvious. Just realised I'm going to need to update my signature, regrettably. But not unexpected.
With curry's playstyle and his age a hammy strain is significant. If he can't get the same lift or get off screens as fast he will be completely neutralized. Even the lowest grade hammy strains take 1-2 weeks to recover from not to mention the type of conditioning it takes to get back into NBA game shape and getting rid of rust. Safe to say curry wont be anywhere normal until game 6 at the earliest if they even make it that far. Shades of CP3 hamstring injury just a few years ago.
If you watched the 2nd round so far, a lot of those surprise wins came from joined effort, the super performances did not result in Wins...... Playoffs are wild.
While Lakers get bonfide superstars for free, we don’t even give. a no1 overall pick. This league is blatantly rigged.
Can't help but feel we would have torn the Timberwolves up had we got past GSW. That and Curry's injury AFTER eliminating us is tough to swallow and watch
TF bro, bright side, fr fr: 2nd seed in West, 11 win improvement, best defense in the NBA, Sengun an All-Star, lottery pick in the upcoming draft.
We weren't going to go all the way this season anyway--it would have been nice to get at least 4 more playoff games for the young guys though. I'll be delighted when Golden State gets eliminated either way.
You know what, I'll say it. The Rockets did manage to avoid both the Supersonics and the Bulls in their title runs. Particularly, the first championship run they were incredibly lucky that Seattle was taken out by the 8th seed. That Seattle team was a juggernaut that year. And most title runs do have some luck involved.
Basketball gods gave us a Jimmy Butler injury, Fred playing like a star for 3 games and Gary Payton Jr. Basketball Satan gave us Jalen Green.
they definitely do.. we tanked all those years and never landed the #1 pick.. Cade, Paolo, Wemby if we had drafted any of these 3 dudes, our team would look very different
Cade or Wemby, sure. Flagg will likely also be in that category, but the odds of getting him are really low, so hard to curse the gods too much if we don't Not Paolo though--he's fool's gold
A lot of us are also UH fans/alumni/chairmen of the Board of Regents, so the basketball pain is much worse right now. We need to win the draft lottery on Monday.
