Offense would be very compressed. This is the issue with this offense past 2 years. Teams would employ Warriors tactic of 3-2 or 2-1-2 zone on us. This is why Bucks had Lopez to stretch the floor all those years. Giannis and Sengun tandem makes no sense and I would think Bucks want a young star and assets with potential in return. I can see Shepperd and Sengun in a deal.

Rockets maximized this roster by leveraging their defensive prowess. However, this roster is severly flawed and keeping ALP, whom I really enjoy watching, and trading for Giannis only exasterbates current issues. Could work in the regular season, but as we saw against GS it won't work in the playoffs. Not to mention the value we would have to replace in the trade if ALP is not included. You build around Giannis and not ALP; It's as simple as that.

Why was Adam's and Sengun our best lineup?

Great question. Adams wasn’t a go to scorer. His role was simple. Defend, grab rebounds, and look for interior passes.

Giannis demands the ball on the mid post, low post or FT line. These are Sengun’s spots. Where would Sengun play? Again he’s not a stretch 5 and Giannis isn’t a stretch 4. So now you have 2 go to scorers demanding the ball in the similar spots on the court with 3 shooters. That’s a recipe for disaster

If you bring in Giannis, Sengun has to go. It’s just math. Too many guys who can’t shoot, and let’s be blunt: Giannis does everything Sengun does, just better. Every single thing.

Bill Simmons is an idiot. Nothing he says has any value.

Trading 2 young good players for Giannis makes little sense. Sengun absolutely has to be part of the deal and I can’t imagine why Bucks wouldn’t ask for this plus young prospects to rebuild their roster. This could mean Sheppard and or Eason.

That simple. I think it's Green, Smith, the 2 picks this year and the 2 in 27.

As much as i like Sengun, If you trade for Giannis you get rid of Sengun. You can't have 2 post players, it would never work.

Sengun + Jalen for Giannis. Get it done Stone.

I think context matters in any conversation. How different is the outcome with Giannis getting those plays in the paint vs Sengun? You think Giannis missing that many inside the paint shots as Sengun? Those are dunks or and 1 for him.

I won't say it is a con job but the Rockets sold themselves much better on the outside, they glossed over their weaknesses and underscored their strengths.

    Good luck to Giannis.

    "A player's package?"

    C'mon, now. I don't want to think of a player's junk.

Not sure it makes any difference at all cuz in the games we lost our guards shot like 20%

No way do I offer Alpi and Green together, much less throwing in 4 firsts on top of it. I would see if I could get Milwaukee to bite on a picks heavy deal with Jalen. We could fill the 2 spot but filling both the 2 and the 4 or 5 while giving up our draft flexibility leaves us kinda where the Bucks are now. Trying to surround a superstar with a good enough team to win a championship and not enough capital to get it done.

Just my .02, which is probably all it's worth.

Problem is the bucks don't have their picks going forward, so they can't get zero players for giannis.

I wouldn't mind giving up some of our young talent to get the deal done including the firsts, but basically I'm worried we would gut our team for a supreme talent then not have enough to build around him.

Why would you keep Sengun when both of them play the same spots and roles as post players? it would never work having Sengun + Giannis together.
