We have a championship level defense. There need to be adjustments to offensive personnel and coaching to open a window beginning next year.

Brooks has done a lot for us and the improvement in his offensive game is notable. I would assume that he stays about these percentages, but nothing is a given. Not to mention, he largely shrunk in the playoffs and isn’t offensively diverse enough to be an impactful player on that end of the court. So Brooks goes.

Jalen was terrible, meek and off kilt for the majority of the series. One offensively good game and generally pretty good defense. we might need to sit on him to rebuild trade value a little bit, but I still think that he has positive value around the league. The contract is not that out of line considering the potential. I also think that he will be a very good regular season player from here on out. if there is anything that got exposed about both Brooks and Green is that they are not diverse enough for the playoffs offensively. So Green goes too.

I view both Brooks and Green as having some positive trade value.

FVV we signed to a three year $72 million contract. With the understanding that he plays about 28 minutes a game during the regular season and transitions to the bench after this year.

    Brooks and Green for KD.

    Sengun/Adams
    KD/Tari
    Smith/Cam
    FVV/Holiday
    Amen/Reed

Amen plays on ball a lot. Fred transitions to a bit more off ball. Maximum spacing for Sengun And Amen.

Use picks to make it work. For Nets they get a young player in Green and some Salary relief. They also get to take a look at Nate Williams who is still only 26.

If Suns want to keep Booker and basically have to keep Beal they get some defense in Eason and Brooks to put around them. And they get a young athletic big in Claxton who can provide some rim protection, rebound and be a LobThreat™. Suns badly need the defense that Brooks, Eason and Claxton could provide.

Rockets get a go to scorer and shooting. This opens up more minutes for Jabari as well. also, in this scenario I'd go ahead and bring FVV back and try to re-work a cheaper deal vs just picking up his option. Also resign Adams. Bring Tate back or a reasonable deal. Uncle Jeff for cheap if he still wants to be a player coach. Sign Corey Joseph just as a cheap insurance back up pg. Bring Dante back. fill out the roster with other guys.

    Starting lineup:

    Sengun
    Cam Johonson
    KD
    Amen
    Fred

    Bench:

    Adams
    Bari
    Cam
    Reed

    Tate
    Jeff
    Corey Joseph
    N'faly Dante

Top three lottery luck changes things a bit, especially if we somehow got Flagg but even then I'd still do the trade just wouldn't include that pick.

Let's face it. Toyota Center screws over our shooting anyhow. Might as well embrace being the worst shooting team in the league.

Fvv gone. Sign Davion Mitchell for a 1/3 of the cost. Play reed more in the pg spot. Him and mitchell can both play it. Go use whatever else (JG, brooks, Tari, picks) for a star?.

    (Star?)
    Amen
    Jabari
    Sengun

    bench-
    Reed
    Whitmore
    Tari?

My thoughts exactly. Although I definitely pencil Jabari in as starter and prefer Collins to Grant or Murphey. Maybe it’s Jalen Green and a pick or two for Sexton and Collins instead, but if you can get Collins for just picks and fillers that fine.

JG to Sacramento for Malik Monk and Keon Ellis.
    Trade #9 & #59 to Brooklyn for #19 & #26.
Extend Fred, Tari and Bari and re-sign Adams.

    FVV/Reed/Walter Clayton (pick 26 - RGV)
    Ellis/Monk
    Amen/Eason/Whitmore
    Smith/Eason/Rasheer Fleming (pick 19 - RGV)
    Sengun/Adams

Not sure what to do with Dillon Brooks
