The sea could've been parted for Jalen, it wouldn't have mattered. One of the first plays of game 7. Jalen beat his man and had an angle and stopped mid court and threw a bounce pass to Sengun. Sengun was further out. It's like he saw contact coming out and wanted no part of it. Reminded me of James Harden too much and we know why those were bad years.
[Highlights] All the 86 field goal attempts by Jalen Green in the 7-game series against Golden State Warriors. He went 32/86 (37.2%) FG, 13/44 (29.5%) 3PT, 16/24 (66.7%) FT. First Round, 2025 NBA Playoffs Jalen Green talks about his first playoff appearance: “I gotta be better. First playoff isn’t an excuse.”
I’ve tried to warn the homers here for years about the reality of the Rockets. from the Chris Paul/WB trade all the way to now. But they never learn.
Why are you in a hurry? I dont want some old dude in here is the core Amen and Sengun or is it FVV and DBrooks? Rockets are ahead of schedule but if we burn our assets to get an old ass star player guess what now we are on the same window as everyone else. Look at OKC they got 1st seed last year and lost in the 2nd round. Instead of panicking they kept a cool head and realized they have all the time in the world.
Did you predict second seed this year or did you just keep moving your goal post till the Rox got eliminated in the first round? You realize a broken clock is right twice a day right? If you didnt predict the 0.500 2 yrs ago and a second seed this year you are just as clueless as the rest of us. Rox wont win a ring this year omg what an astute observation. Nobody could have predicted that!
Its good that he took accountability but he said similar stuff during the game 6 interview but fell flat in game 7 regardless. I think Jalen may not be a star but he can still be a good player if he improves in the summer. I will have to wait and see how much he progress this offseason if he backslides again its over. We need an SG who can shoot wide open shots reliaby.
You tried. None of this has anything to do with my post. Funnily enough, I barely remember posting it. But it was 100% true. I will tell you my next prediction though. If the Rockets trade for Devin Booker without losing any of Sengun/Eason/Thompson, they will win the West next year. I expect this score 3 I mentioned to improve massively the next couple years. Rockets have a strong 3 year window to make smart moves and get a title. Only team with a better foundation right now is OKC.
Nah. Proof of accurate past predictions or you just a poser. Of course it has everything to do with your post you are acting like some sort of Nostradamus when making the most obvious reads ever. Who the hell expected championship from this team this year? Oh but you tried to tell us lmao just stop.
Jalen is just a low efficiency shooter, he is good in very specific scenarios that are not difficult to for defenses to overcome once they plan for it. He was such a non factor in 6 of the 7 games that the position itself wasn't really part of our offense. That cannot happen. We need someone who is a threat in common rather than contrived scenarios. I just don't think Jalen is the guy when it comes to that role. There are teams that he might be able to thrive on though, just not this one in the playoffs as currently constructed.
You sound stupid and emotional. I think if the Rockets losing while Thompson was by far best player and Green is by far the worst was so predictable then you wouldn’t be taking this so hard right now. give it a rest. The Rockets have a real chance to build a really good team. Probably their best chance since 2017. The team I’m imagining won’t have the superstar power of the 2018 Rockets but it will have a much more complete, well-rounded squad. But who knows, Sengun and Thompson can become a lot better.
Nah you the stupid one next time dont stay stiff like "you tried to tell us" when you actually didnt tell us ****. Of course I am taking it hard. Rox lost to Curry again if you arent pissed about that clearly you arent a rox fan. Go take your crystal ball somewhere else SMH.
Jalen got complete and utterly exposed this series. His limitations are clear. Not a good shooter. No moves on offense besides using his speed. Jalen had no answers and no counters.
Jalen has all the talent in the world, he has the speed and the athleticism. I actually grew to like him a lot during the season particularly because of his close relationship with Amen and Sengun. The problem is his mentality. Its not that we lost but its how we lost. Jalen didn't even try to be desperate and put up shots to will us back into the game like Amen did. Amen doesn't have a jumpshot but he still tried everything he could to bring us back into the game. Jalen just packed his bags for cancun and had no heart. I was yelling at the game for Jalen to attack Buddy Hield, he made Buddy and Steph look like Scottie Pippen and Kawahi Leonard. Jalen is not a killer and I don't think he will ever be. We can't build this franchise on someone who chokes in the playoffs. We tried that with James Harden and all it brought was pain for 10 years. Don't make the same mistake again.

It just should not be an excuse for a Numero Uno. The Rockets schemed to stop Curry. The Lakers schemed to stop Ant. The Knicks schemed to stop Cade. None of these guys were completely stopped. They might have a bad game here and there. They might be somewhat less effective than normal. But not like Jalen being completely taken out (except for one hot shooting game). So it's all about what you envision him to be. If he's the best offensive player on a championship contender, then he is just not that, not even close. If you think he can be a very good player on a very good team, then yeah, there is still hope for him, and the "they schemed to stop him" may serve as somewhat of an excuse.
