Tilman is the problem, like the previous owner. Putting too much emphasis on financial success than winning. Team is never loaded with stars.
    Not a winning formula.

If Jalen is still on the team next year it is because there is no good trade for him at this point. He really played that bad.

Yeah, yeah, GSW gave him a lot of attention but we going to watch GSW give Antman (Batman, Superman) the same doubles and traps and watch how he will attack them.

That is so reductive. There are five game seperating them and surely the context of who you are playing and when this is happening matter in any circumstance.

The 7th seed has key players that have won 4 titles and they added a player that essentially put the Heat on his back for two title appearences in recent years at the trade deadline. Stef Curry came into the playoffs playing like a top 5 player in the league. We don't have a player remotely comparable to him, or Jimmy Butler. They went 23-8 after the trade deadline. That's a 61 win team.

And we were right there. We could've taken it. It sucks that we didn't.

Jimmy also got injured and was hardly himself after G2. Ime just got outcoached pure and simple.

If you wanna put context GSW lost Wiggins and got an injured Butler so Rox should be more favored. GSW is an old ass team while the Rox were very fresh had 2 weeks rest and practice to prepare for this matchup. For the Rox this is 7 game but for GSW this is like their 9th or w/e including the play in. The Rox were more fresh, younger, had the higher seed and were also in better health.

Rox are the weakest 2nd seed in NBA history had all the cards stacked for them and still lost G7 in their own home court. And by team I mean including Ime. Ime deserves a lot of blame for this choke job.

Nice to see you finally acknowledging that Amen just may have “it”. Hah. He needs to improve and is still very raw, but as of now, give what’s currently on our roster, he has the best chance of developing into a Superstar.

See if you can get another star with some assets, but otherwise going forward build the team assuming that we are building around Amen. And let other chips and pieces fall where they may.

Trading Sengun would be a massive mistake. Trading Jalen will be tough. He played so bad no team is going to want that contract now. Thanks jalen. You managed to make yourself not even wanted by anyone.

It was a slugfest until 60:63. Then, somehow, for whatever reason, our intensity dropped. You could see and feel it. Maybe because the 3rd Quarter was nearing its end, and the players, physically and mentally looking for a rest, let their guards down just a little.

The problem: The Warriors kept their feet on the gas, and just like that the gap became double digit again.

    It was over then.
IT is too early to look to the future, it feels like an opportunity thrown away.

They threw it away for sure, Sengun quit, Jalen quit.

Just saw this and I typically try to be objective as much as possible and came to a very similar conclusion independently as well.

I would keep Sengun unless it was a deal we couldn't refuse as he is still very young with upside. I think Amen is an emerging two way star and both those guys are excellent #2 and #3 players offensively.

We have an amazing supporting cast and dominant coaching but still lack a Batman alpha scorer. People can complain but if Ime had 23 year old Tatum instead of Jalen this team would be a WCF + threat imo.

I would be open to trading Jalen because his comps, Lavine, Booker, Beal, even younger players have had better first postseason showings, even with the defense keying on them.

We'll see what happens in the draft as well.

I knew they would be more aggressive with their other role players when they got a one on one matchup. Also saw the Looney start to defend Sengun. Thought they needed to counter Green with Bari for size and his ability to win that matchup offensively.

And I was right about needing to get Green involved early but that’s not what they did. They went straight to the old Sengun Fred 2 man game stagnant offense.

Green was fouled by Draymond on that first play but once again no call. Not sure why this always happens but it seems to discourage him going to the paint with multiple no calls. But I thought they needed to back off the predictable stagnant Sengun play especially against that 1-3-1 zone. They should have played high post and rotated the ball to corners or wing. For the 3-2 they should have attacked it with dribble drive. This is where Jalens dribble drive was needed. We put up weird shots all night. A lot out of range and awkward. Just an odd game.

    This is refreshing to hear.

And if these thoughts are coming from inside knowledge of the front office thinking it is great that all these things you mentioned align with how most of us see things.
