To be fair, not many teams have beaten Curry in the playoffs. Since the 2015 season, that team has lost in the playoffs to exactly three teams: the 2016 Cavs, the 2019 Raptors, and the 2023 Lakers.

I said in the first quarter that they need to cool Buddy down. I could see what was happening, because I saw Corey Brewer do it to the Clippers. We let a bench guy beat us, we had to cool him down. I said they need to get Buddy and cool him down and he beat us tonight. Yes, they had to guard him because he was hitting everything AND he still had big plays in the 4th because his confidence was up.

He became an all-star tonight and look at those shots in the first half, most of them WIDE open. I'd rather have Steph beat us on tough contested threes than lose to Buddy hitting open shots.

LOL you set high expectations. If anyone of the two can develop a consistent mid-range and shoot a decent FT rate, I will be very happy.

Now if he simultaneously goes on that prison bulk—we might be talking. Comes in next season looking jacked and acting like the booty warrior Fleece Johnson himself

I would certainly trust him to at least ATTEMPT shots.

But agreed I don’t want any part that either

when he said he was so nervous to the point his legs were shaking prior to game 1, that was a huge red flag for me

I get being a little nervous before your 1st ever playoff game, but it’s so bad your legs are shaking?

he wanted no parts of this game 7

Imagine this game if Buddy Hield didn't have the game of his life.

Imagine this game if a single Rocket played a good game (or had stepped up the way Hield did).

Add 15 lbs of Muscle will show dedication and Fix his Shooting. Add a 40 Foot shot will be helpful, along fixing his Handles.

Therapist and Sports Psychologist needed for Jalen Green, mentally looked lost and helpless.

When everyone gives Alpi a lot of undeserved praise, what is the hack? Alpi's shooting percentage is poor as a center. And he doesn't have a jumper. The poor offense system glorified him. In any other teams, he will be at best third option offense.

I consider myself a fair guy, and its fair to say Jalen failed us this entire series. After bad offensive performances I expected him to step up instead seemed like the whole team besides Amen thought GSW was just gonna roll up and die. Last game Jalen made up for his bad offense with amazing defense but now seems like he spent more time working on his drip than working on his game. Pathetic.

I didnt see any of the frenetic desperation from the Rox maybe because they thought they had it in the bag.

Ime Udoka as usual got outcoached, why was Buddy Hield allowed to shoot 8/9 for the half? After 3 made 3s timeout and adjustments should have been done.

If the plan was to sacrifice everything to make everyone but Curry beat us Rox should have stuck to that. Instead, Udoka went totally away from his game plan and Curry went off and killed us in the 2nd half. Like ok, you were asleep at the wheel and Hield already burned the team. The damage is done its spilled milk at this point you should have stuck to your guns. Instead, you went to man coverage from Curry and Curry almost instantly went from 0 to 20 lol.

Amen and Sengun were great in my book. Yeah Sengun could be more efficient but he was the only POA scorer on this team. Seeing him take it to the rack is still better than letting JG do whatever.

it didn’t bother me that much bc then he was awesome in game 2.

but then he just failed to show up the entire rest of the series. He didn’t even need to score but we needed a second ball handler and facilitator, he could have easily provided that and for some reason just - it’s like he CHOSE not to do that. Geezus.

I don’t know if I can ever believe again, after this. I said before the playoffs that we’d find out lots of stuff, but it still sucks to find it out like this

Honestly, I would go Durant if it's Jalen, Cam, filler, and some picks...

    Put Amen at PG.

They could run a pretty big and long lineup:

    Amen Thompson
    Dillon Brooks
    Kevin Durant
    Jabari Smith
    Alpi Sengun

Use Reed as 6th man and eventually Brooks replacement.

That would be a difficult matchup...

Durant mainly because the price will be lower than someone like Giannis.

I also think Jabari could learn from him...
