Lol, are you serious? That's BARELY LEGAL.

It's literally impossible to win. The lowest 3PA team in the entire league this year (Denver) shot ...31 per game. The Rockets averaged 35.

They double bigged themselves into irrelevance. Attack the paint, yes I get it but, Jesus Christ what the hell

Rockets made 6 of them btw. Not great, but not awful

Why didn't they even try as the game got away from them?

If only the Rockets had a 40% 3 shooting guard on the bench who's a good defender -

    - maybe Rafael Stone can acquire Justin Holiday in the off season

    Well the problem was twofold:

Ime kept running double big lineup with 3 non shooters - Sengun, Amen, Adams. Mathematically our odds of winning were tiny even if we kept hitting 2s because they could hit 3's
We needed to involve more of Jabari and Tari somehow.
We had Jalen in but the man wilted in game 7. He has opportunities to launch 3's but decided to pass it like hot potato to Amen, the man was INVISIBLE.

We were never going to be a threat to GSW and that's how we were beaten, absolutely no threats from 3.

I don't understand at all why Aaron Holiday couldn't buy meaningful minutes this series, or why Jabari took such a back seat to Tari, and against certain Warriors lineups, Adams

Jabari, the few times he got the ball tonight, seemed obsessed with trying to punish smaller defenders with his fadeaway mid-range - just ****in catch & shoot man, that was kuminga ****

    exactly, and its on coaching.

    it is impossible to win

we're working our ass of with inefficient sengun post ups and stupid midrange shots (and I am far more understanding for the occasional middy than most people)

but you are never going to win like this...ever

Jabari has never had a post game and probably never will. He couldn't make Steph Curry budge one inch.

It reminded me of when KG tried to back down Chuck Hayes one time and made a complete fool of himself.

If you can't even back down Steph Curry, admit to not having a post game and just be a jump shooter.

    Game 3-4-7

GS tricked Ime into playing through Alpi which limits shots by DB 40% from 3 .., JG 40% catch and shoot 3 .. FVV - Bari 37% catch and shoot 3

by over playing JG and leaving Alpi 1v1 you live with a player finishing 60% under 5ft and in 40% range under 10ft because 2s can’t beat you

Ime never adjusted to using Alpi as a decoy

got goated into Double Big early this game and Hield feasted

The offense is and has always been get the ball to Sengun at the FT line and down. If he gets doubled, kick out. If not, he should be able to take his man 1on1. In previous games the Warriors doubled Sengun when he got deep position and it left them scrambling.

This game they single covered Sengun. Even when he got a switch away from Draymond they still let him go 1on1. So, the offense completely broke down. There was no way for the few shooters we have to get open consistently.

This team doesn't have a single player that can consistently score on good defense when single covered.

You can't win in the playoffs that way.
