I don’t think Green and Sengun can coexist at least with this system. As I said one has to go. Sengun made a lot if wrong reads today. Green has been very passive since game 3.

great to have meaningful games in may again. unfortunately, gsw still own us, but hopefully we get some additions (outside shooting, shot creators in the half court) and are much better next year.

Our zone defence killed us. Hield made 33 because of that. Ty Ime

We got out coached because when Sengun couldn't score efficiently and was indecisive we should have did something a little bit different. I feel bad for Udoka because what else could he have done besides Amen Thompson trying to single handle bring the team back by himself. Those free throws by Eason killed our momentum. For this off season they really need to work on their free throws, Jalen needs to really work on his handles and decision making skills, Sengun needs to man up and stop being passive and looking for fouls. Jalen play decently but we expect more because he's a number 2 pick. He's nowhere near that expectation. Udoka needs to give more playing time to some of the guys on the bench with things like this happen or when things get stagnant. Overall it was a good season, we made the playoffs, we will be better next year. I think this one hurts the most because it was against the Warriors and James Harden pretty much crapped his pants every time he played them in a big game.

Game 2. If people are waiting to pass blame on Sengun then they aren't Rockets fan. With that said They were both terrible tonight especially Alpi. Time to let Amen run the point and take over this team.

Yeah I agree and have said this all series but he showed up. Throwing in him the same sentence as Jalen is not being honest.

they can’t go into next season with Jalen Green as a starter…his extension will be kicking in next year, and that salary will be way too high to have him as a 20-25 min bench scorer…they gotta get rid of him

literally had 1 good game and was absolute trash and invisible in the other 6

The regular season does not, and has not, mattered in the NBA for some time. The NBA playoffs has long been about stars and experience. The 2024-25 Rockets were light in both departments. It’s management’s job to assess whether the current players on this team have the potential to become stars, and if not, use their considerable assets to bring the “right” stars in.

Basically, all we had to do was not play our worst game of the season, and have 1 PLAYER show up.

The Sengun hate on here is so stupid...yall kids need to go to bed, past yall bedtime!
Warriors made 18 three pointers and we only made 6 - that's a 36 point swing!
Our poor 3 point shooting caused terrible spacing for Sengun to operate, but kuddos to Draymond for playing great defense.
Jalen Green proved to us (hopefully the front office) that he's not worth the $30M+ per year...Wouldn't be surprised if he's back on the roster next year, but gotta get in the lab this summer and develop Mamba Mentality! Get rid of the nail polish bruh

No forget that. I’m not patting myself on the back as a fan bc my team wasn’t expect to compete this year and “overachieved” by getting the 2 seed.

ultimately, they did what a lot of people did expect which was to make the playoffs and get bounced - that’s exactly what happened. They didn’t overachieve at all. Just bc the future looks bright doesn’t mean that it’s not backbreaking to lose to this garbage franchise for the 743rd time. It’s humiliating in every sense of the word.

and yeah Minnesota likely beats them but I’m not foolish enough to chalk that up as an easy series win. Warriors can absolutely make enough 3s play fouling defense and bullshit their way to a conference finals. I suspect they’re gonna get bounced in the next round or eventually but I don’t know how anyone can rule them out with absolutely certainty. And any time it’s a key game, a game 7, on the road, backs against the wall I mean idk I’m just not betting against them.

Damn...Buddy scored 33 and Draymond scored 16...the others beat us in our gym! At the end of the day, the others played. Draymond came up big in that first few minutes of the game (quick 8).

Kerr took away the 3 altogether and the Rockets relied on a subpar half court offense. Yes it slowed the Warriors down as well, but they are content to letting Buddy (Podz, Moody, or whomever else they wanted to feature).

That piss poor first half doomed us.

At this point I am not even gonna mention Jalen Green more than this one moment. I have never seen a superstar player have his entire overall game unravel for the entire playoff series. I hate that we get owned in different eras by this shmuck Kerr. I am totally rooting for the TImberwolves next round.

(PS: If the Rockets can find a way to unite the Thompson Twins...)

It is exactly what makes me furious. It is a great chance to beat the old farts and finally have our revenge. Yet the chance is slipping away and they may never appear in another playoff.

Terrible coaching. That wasn’t a surprise to me at all because they’ve seen it before.

Sengun is Pau Gasol on the Grizzlies.

Really good player but if he's your best player your team has a low ceiling. You need to pair him with a legit #1 to be a real contender.
