ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/4/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 7)

I’m really not tryna hear that Jalen was just doing what Ime wanted…he was absolute ass, and I can’t sit here and act like he was just following the game plan

 

The most disappointing part is that we lost to the Warriors. Again. I feel like Pedo Martinez pre-2004; they're our daddy.

Not sure what we can do once the dust settles. We need to see how the lottery shakes out and which star players get restless. We obviously need to find someone who can create their own offense. Jalen is at a crossroads.

Stone is going to have to prove he's a capable GM.

 

We have half of a right team. players wise. Need upgrades at both guard spots.

 

Sengun is not a franchise player. 2-3 option on a championship team, at best. His athletic deficiencies are real.

 

super soft man lol no clue what they do now. Amen is a keeper. I hope they extend Jabari and Tari on team friendly deals. And play them more next year. It’s criminal to not get Jabari more shots when NO ONE can shoot lol

 

Stone might be so stupid to trade Bari and he will send up being an all NBA player

I think this is what pissed me off the most.

You pay the man 40 million to NOT play like Kevin Porter.

No situational awareness....

 

You may be right but if this is going to be the way he's utilized may be best for both sides to part ways.

 

Alpi and Amen need to grind shooting hard this offseason

 

This has been a good seven games.

 

They absolutely over it. She does not a loser mentality that’s just a basic facts.

especially when you consider the fact that management set them up for failure, but not adding a freaking vet shooter at the deadline. Everyone on this for New we needed that how did Stone and Ime not know that

 

It is what it is, thankfully, they aren't going to be relevant much longer. We need to be more worried matching up with Minny, OKC, the Spurs, and Lakers.

This is just the last gasp of a dead dynasty.

 

Jalen has to go. Sengun cannot be your No.1 player, either. Sad to say that after this series but guys are not the star players you have on great teams. Sengun has a weak inside presence. His glaring problem is not being able to knockdown a short jumper. Adding to the insult is his inability to shoot a decent FT rate. Sad. Udoka needs an offense assistant coach. It does not seem he calls plays. If he did, the execution must have been extremely poor.

 

Lmao he is lucky to even sniff at Horry's accomplishment.

Stone is not really a good trader.......chill.

It's almost impossible a 20+ ppg player scores single digits multiple times in 7 games --- a specific, important, 7 games.

 

him and Jalen were awful lol. But Amen looked great. We’ve got our guy I think.

 

jalen's minutes should have went to jabari

 

Feel like we got outcoached badly today though. He reacted to the Warriors shuffling the lineups instead of imposing his will on the game.

Just absolutely outclassed from the coaches to everyone that played. I reckon their waterboys probably did a better job than ours too
