Alperen Sengun is the Rockets' franchise player

It is sad that there are some fans who do not see this.

 

Where though? Sengun's near universally loved on this forum, it's just weird at this point that y'all are continuing to act like he's hard done by by the fanbase. Nobody even goes at him like that, literally the only beef y'all have recently is people saying they'd trade a 2 x MVP for him, or that he's not yet at superstar level. It's weird as **** that you all pretend like he's hated when he's not at all, SOF's are nuts tbh.

 

People are saying they'd trade him for Giannis. The poster you quoted didnt say people hate Sengun, rather they dont see his long term potential.

 

I have been a Houston Rockets fan since Moses patrolled the paint so do not call me a SOF. I do however recognize who our best player is and see what his potential is once he reaches his prime. It is not unusual for fans of a team to have that teams best player as their favorite player. Moses, Dream, Yao, and Harden were also once my favorite players. Sengun's potential is off the charts yet there are some fans who would trade him for a player who is almost 31 years old. That just does not compute with me.

I love how they still don't believe he can be the cornerstone player of a championship team, so now they are supposedly not haters because they would trade him for a 31 year old Giannis while trying to keep Jalen of all players. They refuse to admit they ever were wrong on Alpi yet still want him gone lol.

 

Also as a SOF, we were called that because we wanted him to play a little bit more in a tanking season. Its not like Sengun is playing bad in a playoff game and we still wanted him play no matter what.

Hopefully we'll be here when the goalpost is "ok he is a superstar, but is he a HOF? I don't think so" in a couple of years.

 

Who said they wanted to trade him and keep Jalen, show me one example? Y'all are just making **** up and it's weird, nobody's going at Sengun at all, y'all just love being butthurt when you don't even have a reason to be.

 

You know they did all these things through "cleverly disguised" posts, like trolling Sengun in a seemingly innocent way by comparing him to Jeremy Lin or D-Mo. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but none of these role players have carried the team like Sengun has. Yet, the troll meme squad had no shame in degrading Sengun and fans who believe in Sengun's potential to be in the same class as those who support these role players as cornerstones. I thought grown men would admit when they're wrong, but sadly it's not true.
