Harden would definitely be an upgrade on Fred, but was surprised to see he had a down year from 3. He’s gonna be 36 next season and at some point you’d have to expect some decline. The poor playoff performances are concerning, but so was Fred’s regular season performance. If we could get Harden without giving up assets on a short-term deal, we need to strongly consider that. But I’d rather go hard after our long-term solution in the backcourt; someone that fits our timeline.
