While I wanted to win this series with everything in me, ultimately I knew that if we just took it 6-7 games I'd be happy for our young guys.

Im not ecstatic, but a level above floor of satisfied (because 50+ wins was the wow for this year already).

They need to show the players all the Warriors TWolves series previews that have already come on the internet and on podcasts. Show them Tim McMahon's ESPN Rockets Post-Mortem article, as though our season was already over. NOBODY BELIEVES IN US!

 

Remember when Amen went unstoppable mode for a month?

I hope last game turned that switch on. If he goes that mode, very very hard to beat.

 

Really hope he has finally settled into the series.

Should be a very interesting first 5-8 minutes. Curious to see how the young Rox handle the Warriors pressure to start and end halves. If we can stay the course, this game is there for the taking.

Keys to the game:
- Continue to play solid defense to limit Steph and easy baskets to the rim. I expect more off ball play action from Steph in this game as oppose to on ball where he got picked several time in last game.
- Hit our free throws at good percentage
- Have a decent shooting night from either Jalen or Fred
- Get either Amen or Jabari going on offense

 

Harden injured his eyes in the first quarter, grabbing at his face after he and Draymond Green fought for a loose rebound and Green’s left hand hit Harden in the face. The incident left Harden with bleeding in both eyes and a cut on one of his eyelids. “I can barely see. Just tried to go out there and do what I can to help my teammates,” Harden said after the game. “It’s pretty blurry right now. Hopefully it gets better day by day.”
