Well he'll just have to get used to it because Sengun is here to stay and will be one of the best Rockets Cs ever.
I'd point out this is regular season. I will say I'm surprised at how those two worked in the regular season, but even with fit issues, they are the two best Rockets (i.e., the two best players should play well together even with fit issues). In the playoffs, Sengun has been the biggest positive driving force behind the Rockets so far overall. Amen has been the worst rotation player with Sengun so far, mostly because the Warriors play off them and clog the paint. The Warriors also try to do this with the double big, but Adams is just too big for the Warriors. Long term, the Rockets will need to figure out how to handle how teams defense Sengun and Amen in the playoffs. I'm skeptical that Amen and Sengun are going to be a good pairing against defenses geared towards them. I'd give it a couple of years to see if they can figure it out.
Sengun's trajectory is fantastic and he's on his way to superstardom. I think age is relevant. Wouldn't it be more apples-to-apples to post Giannis and Joker's stats at age 22?
At 22 Giannis was basically a 22-8-5 player, Jokic was 16-9-5. Let's not act like age doesn't matter, Sengun is 3 years away from his prime. Let's talk then.
How many guys do you know were super stars at 22? You are being unrealistic. Age definitely matters. In 4 years can he be a super star? Only time will tell. Yall are spoiled by the fact this rockets team overachieved. Like just appreciate the season.
At 22 Giannis wasn't a superstar, neither was Jokic. What was the point you thought you made that disagreed with the phrase "Sengun is not a superstar?" Like do you have learning difficulties or something because I feel like i'm being mean at this point with how blatantly clueless you sound?
No I'm not, I'm literally just saying "he is not a superstar." Neither was Giannis, neither was Jokic. Y'all are actually ****ing r****ded, you just agreed with me you dumbass.
Strange behavior, honestly. I'd move Jalen for the right return. Same goes for Sengun. That's just being pragmatic. But I get the sense this isn't really about basketball. Feels like you're pushing back not because of what I said, but because you don't like that I said it.
Not when we're talking comparing Sengun now to Giannis now, which is the discussion you inserted yourself into without reading the context. So no.
Tomorrow we will probably watch him for the last time in a Rockets uniform. Hopefully the series will go to Game 7 and we will watch one more game. giannis durant booker, in any trade, i expect him to be a trade piece.
Maybe but if you want to get stars you give stars, nobody will want Jalen Green believe me, Amen is already untouchable, Alperen is the only one left
I would give up Amen before I give up Alpi. That being said there is no need to bring in a "star" right now when we have multiple home grown stars blooming in front of us right now. We also have Reed waiting in the wings who I believe also has star potential.
Why does literally everyone else see it, except a few idiots on Clutchfans who are still parroting 'he's a bad defender' I mean I do like seeing those comments because they're hilarious, but at the same time a little tiring because they're so played out and just blatantly incorrect.
