With that AD comment I always knew Lebron wasn't happy with that trade.

1. Lebron loves control. The Lakers going behind his back to trade a friend was not going to sit well with him especially since Luka is much younger and so now suddenly Lebron is not the franchise anymore. Luka is.

2. Lebron is a lot like Ime. Defense first. Watching Luka be a traffic cone has to be driving him mad.

I also just never liked the body language between them. Never saw Lebron get amped for anything Luka does. They traded one of his boys AND then did so without his permission, has to piss of LeKing.

 

Wouldn't matter. JJ wouldn’t play them. He just caters to Letoid.

LeBron is at a point in his career where he is the old wife being traded for the new one, and the trade is happening right in front of him. He has his friends in the media who will protect him, but the Lakers have made their choice. The Mark Williams rescinded trade is one sign and so is Pelinka's extension.

So on Get Up this morning, they started with the game from last night (Lakers-Wolves) and after 20 minutes, they are still talking about it except all they are talking about what can the Lakers do...nothing about the Rockets-Warriors game from last night. Nothing about the Wolves and all the good things they did - nope, just all about LeBron, Luka, and JJ Reddick. So ridiculous how much the media is in the Lakers ass.

 

If "guy Luka is defending" had a stat line for the series itd probably be something like 45.4/15.5/8.8 on 60/40/85.

 

Anyone else feel like Luka half faked his injury? He already looked like he was gassed before.
