They got a great deal by having LeBron join the team as a Free Agent, but they had to give up quite a bit to get Davis. Mostly quantity than quality, but still NBA rotation players for the most part.

After acquiring LeBron and Davis, their Front Office didn't do that much great beyond Caruso and Reeves.

 

I don't think JJ Reddick is a good coach. I think it's foolish to hire a former player to be an NBA head coach without any previous coaching experience. The Lakers roster is really terrible though outside their top 6 players. There's just nothing else there. A better coach would still fail with that roster.

No. Refs took McDaniels out from the start. He did not recover. Randle was also in early foul trouble, but he recovered.

LeBron fouled Reaves on one play... Called on Alexander-Walker... Later, Reaves fouled LeBron.... Called on Randle. What da... There are more shameless calls against the Wolves... No shameless calls against the Lakers.

It's over, and I'm relieved.

 

I don’t know Luka is a slam dunk max player after watching second half of this game. I remember him being big, and bad on defense, but he got to be 260 or 270 right?

 

This is crazy. Where are they without Doncic? LeBron couldn't muster up the energy to defend or rebound this game, and he didn't have a good offensive night either.

It's just so weird that the real problem for the Lakers will not get any shade. Instead, it'll be directed at Doncic and Redick. Redick is an ass, didn't deserve the job, but I have no idea if he did a good job or not. What? He didn't play Hayes? The guy everyone thought should not play.

 

He got Luka but he is still a rookie coach, might have to lower expectations.....hard to do in LA.
