I remember when his cultist @Salvy claimed before the election Truckers would be booming under Trump LOL. Now they're on the verge of massive layoffs Low iq individuals
https://www.forexlive.com/news/walm...ers-to-resume-shipping-goods-report-20250426/ Walmart has notified Chinese suppliers to resume shipping goods - report The move came after major retailers met with the White House This means one of two things, either the customer is paying for all the tariff or more likely Walmart got some kind of exemption from the tariff. Who is next? Target, Homedepot and Lowes?
There will be empty shelves, even if it is not at Walmart or target, small to medium businesses will suffer, I think this trade war will last a while, maybe when Christmas comes and you cannot buy gifts, then it might finally stop.
Casual look at the tariffs chaos. Change tariffs on daily or hourly basis ... by tweet. 90+ tariff policies in less than 100 days. Fire all of the temporary workers at the ports who collect the tariffs and/or workers who maintain the computer systems that assist in tariff collection and administration. Enjoy the win. It is just like Trump has no idea what he is doing. Just like.
in between destroying the economy and bringing about their usual recession, u can always count on republicans to tackle the most pressing issues in this country Btw, where are the Epstein files??
Jeff Bezos had contributed millions to the Trump inaugural as a result of Trump 2.0's act of economic terrorism, the ill-conceived tariffs Amazon's proactive move---keeping its customers informed---has prompted the WH press secretary to spin this convenient lie. White House calls Amazon showing tariff-related pricing changes a 'hostile and political act'; WH also calls Amazon the propaganda arm of China "Why didn't Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the highest level in 40 years?" Press Secretary Leavitt said. She was being intellectually dishonest; Biden did not impose new tariffs
Its weird how the "small government" trolls @Space Ghost have no issue with the government pressuring private corporations on how to run their businesses? Weird how full of **** these people are huh
I guess that’s good for Walmart and other large retailers, but what about the small businesses. A policy that gives exemptions only to the big guys will put the little guys out of business. Small business owners need to find their voice and make it be heard. Easier said than done I’m sure. But, this looks bad for small businesses.
Walmart isn't getting an exemption according to the story. They're going to pass the price of the tariffs to the consumers. Were all getting screwed
Okay, I’m glad they aren’t getting a special exemption. It’s already hard enough for the small businesses to compete with the mega stores.
GDP, at the end of Trump 2.0's first quarter, shrinks for the first time since 2022; U.S. recession risk leaps, as the impact of tariffs triggered a record surge in imports and slowed domestic spending. as a point of reference, the US economy grew every quarter under Trump 1.0 during which, China never vowed to fight (the tariffs war) to the end Biden
