I was actually talking about myself, but Buck obviously qualifies.

 

Hays is slashing .365/.431/1.143, 5 HR, 13 RBI, 15 R and 3 doubles. 1 year 5 mil. It's early but I'd like my flowers now

Went looking for this post as it ended up being very prescient. Bottom line for this season is that the roster was not constructed to be able to withstand a serious injury to Yordan Alvarez. Everything else is pretty much just noise.

 

Astros elected to increase their launch angle this offseason. A complete organizational shift.

It did not pay off in slug.

 

They have got to get out from Walker's contract, even if they have to eat some salary. I do not want two more years of full dead money for a first baseman after we just ended two years of full dead money (three years of bad money total) for the last first baseman that sucked donkey.
