Seems either you think Ime/FVV are holding the team/development back or you think we just aren't good enough/ready yet this season. It's fandom/CF so there will always be wish-casting about how things should be done but I think this team is just not good enough yet. Ime certainly has his issues, but it's the current level of the roster. Where is CF at? I would imagine game 4 will impact thoughts on the topic.
Ime may be stubborn But he is not stupid He's taken a team far in BOS and has to get some credit for our massive record improvement He knows how to win games. You don't do that by ignoring X's and O's and real production He's actually been way more lenient of young players so far, early in the playoffs here. Uncle Jeff and Holliday are actually playing less than I expected
Please don’t lump FVV and Ime together. One is on a short list for coach of the year, outperforming expectations. The other is making max money shooting under 40% from the field…not even average starter-level production.

If the whole point of choosing FVV over Harden 2 years ago was because he's here to help the kids grow, why haven't they grown these past two years? Did FVV cripple them to the point where they need a guy shooting 30% on the court or they don't know what to do?
Ime is Tom Thibedeaux part 2, a guy who overworks his players, plays defense only guys, and wins in the regular season. DD
Game 4 didn’t change my mind. Ime has made some coaching mistakes. But it’s still unequivocally the roster for me.

I feel like we’ve outplayed the Warriors overall. Free throws have killed us, along with three single-digit performances from our SG. We don’t even need an all-star performance, just get into double digits and we’re fine. This team is not going to grow enough internally to make the leap. We have got to bring good shooters into the starting lineup, especially the backcourt.
What other point would make you choose FVV over Harden? He's clearly not the better basketball player. He clearly does not have a history of making players around him better through great passing and gravity. He's clearly not someone you want Jalen to study under, since his peak was a weak Eastern Conference all-star and was never an efficient shooter. So what is any the points in his favor in retrospect? Because Harden can't win in the WCFs? The Rockets are getting their butts kicked in the first round by a 7th seed lol
No. Ime has seen how stupid Amen and Jalen can be with the ball. I don’t blame him for the confidence our young guys don’t give him.
How can you say that? We have played 8 guys..... Kerr has played how many? Guys from the Gleague, guys buried on his bench, I mean he is expanding and getting it done. Ime isn't..... We have shooters on the bench in Cam, Reed, Holiday, Green...that could help......but Ime won't play them......his stubborness is costing us the series. Not a single one of our players is a PLUS shooter - or a plus offensive player - that has been played.....we have PLUS offensive players just kicking back watching. DD
Yeah, feast or famine from your SG might work ok in the regular season when you’re playing sub-.500 teams, but in the playoffs you can’t just disappear 75% of the time.
