Sengun has been awful when defended by Draymond..

Şengün disrespect is crazy. He is an all-star; he might even be on one of the All-NBA teams. This last shot was not a very bad look; if it went in, or was tipped in by the many Rockets guys under the rim, what would be the narrative now? This feels more like using losses to spread the hatred.

The team has been great, and no one was expecting a big play-off run from them. We should be proud. If we win one more, that would be great. But even then, if the team loses 2-4 or 3-4, we will see these threads/posts to dismiss Şengün, Green, or Thompson.

Pretty much this. They are going toe-to-toe against a team that has the full backing of the league and an extra 3 zebras in their pocket...we're constantly in a 5v8 battle... one or two lucky bounces or a few made free throws and we would have won and be in a love-fest over how the Rockets are up 3-1.

Whether they win or lose, it's been a good learning experience and I think the players and the front office know what they need to work on in the offseason.

Yes, Draymond definitely owns Alpi so far. I am not surprised, the donkey has always been an elite low post defender.

No need to worry too much though. This is Alpi's first Playoff and he is on the right track, he is our current only all-star player. You see how much he can contribute to the team's offsense system today (although it's only when the donkey not guarding him). He is learning and he will improve, I have faith in him. He is way more consistent than Jalen.

When Jalen has a bad offensive game, he needs to be yanked immediately otherwise he is a huge positive for the other team. "But I'm willing to give him another year..... Maybe year 5 won't be exactly likes years 1, 2, 3 and 4"

When Sengun has a bad offensive game he drops 31 points. And idiots talk about wanting to trade him.

    Make it make sense.

He scored 31 and he was the only reason we were in the game. You guys blame him after a game like this? Crazy.

He had 4 fouls in first half two on sengun he was a big reason for the foul trouble. He should have been ejected for the stupid stuff.

He had 31 points. You and several others were trashing him yesterday before the game while propping up Jalen and all of yall have egg on your faces now. @fchowd0311 where you at? @gfab-babyboi too. @Dobbizzle , I see you dropped the Jalen avatar.

Sengun shows up in the playoffs clearly. Is he a number 1? Nope but he's a very good #2. Imagine if he had an SG like Ant alongside him? Someone who doesn't play scared.

Totally agree, none of the current roster can lead a contender.

Sengun is averaging 22.3/11.5/4.3 these playoffs. He’s not the problem.

I have no egg on my face, Alpi did what he always does, scored on less physical opponents and when the physical opponent came in he went back in his shell…and settled.

16 missed shots from our C … I’m not blaming the loss on him or JG - I blame the loss on Ime being stubborn and refusing to change the lineup after Game 1 and Game 3

Our coaching staff doesn’t draw any plays to get anyone easy shots - even Alpi .. if we not getting turnovers and running, then we just spam the exact play over and over

Kerr drew up plays to get players not named Curry open shots and it worked like a charm…

Ime continues to throw his brain dead defenders (Tari / DB) in game just for them to be overly aggressive and stupid fouls

Alpi did what he was supposed to do vs the smaller GS lineup

Name a “#3 option” averaging 22.5/11.5 these playoffs. I do think there is an argument that he would be better as a #2/offensive hub role. But to say he’d be better as a #3 option is pure disrespect. There’s a non-zero chance he’ll make All NBA.

Need to deflect from Jalen...let's start blaming Alpi for CARRYING US this game.

Draymond is a great defender. Alpi will figure it out.

You have yolk sideburns from all the egg running down your face.

Just give Alpi some credit. You wanted that from Jalens poor game on Saturday.

I was just trying to say we have a young team. Before the season half the board didn't think we'd even make the playoffs. We overachieved. No reason to get upset about this year.

I’ve never not given Alpi credit, I point out his flaws just like I pointed out JG flaws…and I point out Ime flaws…. I’m a Rockets fan not a player fan

I think most people are upset because these games are close enough to be won - we haven’t been screwed over like Pistons (Yet) unless you want to count that BS foul on DB on Butler 3 - cause Draymond did samething on Alpi shot and it wasn’t called

Segun gets credit for taking the shots. But he's shooting 45% and 60%. Down 6% from his career FG% and down 10% from his career FT%. That's not rising to the moment. It's sinking it. They are 0-3 when he takes the majority of the shots. 0-3. He has to improve in the playoffs to get that kind of workload.

The best thing he can do now is take that failure and use it as fuel in the summer.

Pre injury Sengun was more forceful and dominant

Pretty much confirms what anybody with eyeballs have been seeing.

If we're not going to make shots anyways and run trash offense with FVV and Jalen, Ime should just go all out and put in a lineup of Stevo, Alpi, Jabari, Tari, and Amen. Get every damn offensive rebound until we score. Amen, Tari, and Jabari can lock down the perimeter on defense and there'd be no second chance opportunities whatsoever on that end
