The extension was given to him because he was the 2nd round pick and still young. NBA is very political and it matters where you are drafted. Luckily, the mistake was not devastating. If we couldn't find a trade partner, we could shift him to the bench behind Aaron.
What are you, an idiot? Of course you do Green and #9 for KD. Gives us 2 years of having a bona-fide playoff scorer on the roster. #9 most likely scenario is role player
Agreed. Reason why. I wanted timberwolves to be dysfunctional last and this year…but they just…keep…winning…
Yeah they definitely being under-utilized. I just hope that they got what it takes once they are utilized.
I think we're pretty much stuck with him at least until next seasons trade deadline. His trade value greatly diminished with this disappearing act.
Meh. I think only fans are overreacting to three below average playoff games. He'd still have a ton of value in the trade market.
Jalen+Reed+FRP for Trae Young. That’s a good reset for both teams. Throw the full MLE at Quentin Grimes. Sell off FVV to fill in holes with nothing but sharpshooters.
Sunk Cost Fallacy. Stone must have learned this in business school or something right? Trade him Stone!
This makes no sense. I only want KD if its from FVV straight up. The suns are in no position to negotiate. Over the cap, no picks, terrible chemistry. Rockets should just make KD hold out and do a trade with 0 picks. There is no world where KD is worth anything more than that to us. Sorry phoenix if you want your picks, we want booker. Now if the ROckets trade FVV, Jalen 2 first for KD and Booker thats intriguing.
It's that weird paradox again where CF members believe Jalen is both worthless, and has trade value in getting a star. If we don't want him because he's trash, why would another team trade us their star for him?
