Jalen playing well. I dont even care if you are pro or anti Jalen. Doesnt matter. We got the best Fred game we could ask for. Sengun played his best game this playoffs. Everyone else was solid including Jabari and Adams getting extended run. Heavy Tari minutes. Jalen was mostly benched. But since Jalen wasnt good and we cant win? its pathetic. its sad that our only win was because he was the best player on the court for one night. Like either Jalen becomes the guy or we always falter. I wish he was that guy every night, but hes not. Hes that guy 1 in 4 nights. And for some reason thats the only night we can win? its irritating and not even at Jalen. I expect this Jalen more or less. Im irritated that we cant win without him.
Playing well? when tf are you going to wake up. He doesn't need to play well... he can just be average. But he can't even do that
Jalen's role is what absolutely must be upgraded. He's gotta be replaced. Rockets can't rely on a paperweight player with no guts and no mental fortitude.
We don't need Jalen we just need to hit ****ing free throws at a league average level. It shouldn't be this hard.
It's sad we can't without having a real shooting guard...Jalen isn't for sure. I'm so sick of his stans and their excuses.
already what I am seeing is anti Jalen. idc he sucked. This isnt a pro Jalen post or anti Jalen post. This is a "why cant we win without him post" He played limited minutes tonight.
Shooting 3s should not be his game.....I would not care about 5 or 6 attempts a game. Idc if all he did was finger rolls or floaters like IHartenstein does all the time. He is getting fewer minutes when everyone is looking like a line backer and he looks like a high school kid frame improved but still.
Op correct which is why I blame ime, you don’t bench your best scorer for a few bad possessions the 3rd and 4th quarter, you need wings to win in playoffs it’s proven with Kobe, Jordan, Luka, LeBron etc
Because you can't win in this league without legit perimeter scorers. Jalen "sometimes" Green is the only one we have.
IDC ABOUT JALEN GREEN why cant the 2025 houston rockets beat the warriors without a monster game from Jalen? Why is fred and senguns best night not enough? jalen is the problem, ok i dont even want to argue that, he was benched. we still cant win. jabari and adams need to play more? they did! Jalen needs to play less? he did! Fred needs to hit shots? he did! Sengun needs to be better? he was! Amen needs to be better? he was! its fuucking gross we are so reliant on our most unreliable player.
Sir, they didn't need a "monster game" from Jalen Saturday or tonight. They just needed him to show up instead of completely disappearing like a mental midget. Nice try to distort discussion.
JALEN GREEN HAS SUCKED THESE PLAYOFFS! Hes also the only reason we have a win. Its fuucking pathetic there are no discussion distortions
I don't know what he's going on and on about, he says he doesn't care about Jalen and then pretends were asking for 30 everynight we're ****ing asking for 10-15 consistent points. He doesn't need to have a monster game, and this dude is trying to. have those stealth pro jalen threads like we're out to get him. Even TNT crew clowining him all night
this. is. not. a. pro. jalen. thread. hes. been. terrible. especially. game. 4. we seemingly AS A TEAM, cant win without him being great. That is depressing.
No, he was in his worst form in Game 1. Compared to Game 1, I would say Game 4 is already much better (although it's still very pathetic to say this). And, I think we can win with him being average. So the question should be - Why can't Jalen just be average. Why being so garbage by creating these turnovers.
Someone on the Rockets has to take shots and score - the issue is that no one on the roster is good enough to do that consistently. So Jalen gets the role by default. Lots of Indians - but not a single chief. Jalen Green will get a lot of the blame - but a lot of it isn’t Jalen’s fault. He plays hard, he has improved - he is just miscast playing the role of superstar. I am sure there will be many irate fans blaming Udoka, Jalen - Fred and Sengun if the Rockets lose in the first round. The reality is that it is almost impossible to win in the playoffs without a stud. This off season I am sure they will try to find someone to come in and take the role of top playmaker/scorer. The real question some fans should ask is how did the Rockets manage to get the second pick, the third pick twice and the fourth pick … and not land a superstar. Consider that in this series the Warriors have for sure the best two players on the court and possibly the three best. That is hard to overcome.
Well said. Thing is, I doubt Jalen would accept a reserve role on the Rockets. Only way to add a legit star to this team is to trade him. I don't really blame Jalen. He is what he is. We just needed to learn from this series whether he should be a part of the Rockets future.
