ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 4/28/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

Really sucks. So many issues but among other things seems like there are better shots to be had with the game on the line than a sengun free throw line baby hook fading away.

As others have pointed out refs found a way to close the door when it counted.

FVV finally steps up and Thompson has a good game and Green, Bari, etc are complete non factors.

Short of literally punching someone in the face, draymond will never get ejected. Kerr might as well play him the entire game with 5 fouls, they aren’t gonna foul him out. It was honestly foolish he sat for so long.

It’s been a fun year but until curry retires might as well just sit back and watch. We aren’t ever beating them is what it is. Anyone that thinks we are KD away is delusional.

 

We don't have enough to win it all anyway. At least we know if Jalen is our starting SG next season, we are fxxked.

 

That move needs to happen.

 

Adams did not need to come off the floor at the end of the 4th. Rockets were playing good enough defense.

Hated that last play. I would've rather gotten off a quick 3 and then crashed the offensive glass. Muck up the game and extend it as long as possible.

But those missed free throws really hurt

I hate to say it but Butler was right about what’s his face. Terrible, terrible foul with 1 minute to go.

 

Green was allowed well over 10 fouls.

 

Need a PG
Need a SG
Need a franchise player (not 37 year old Durant or 31 year old Giannis)
Need shooting in general
Need some offensive assistants (some might say a new HC)
Anything else

The most absurd officiating decision of the playoffs thus far. They spent four minutes reviewing the footage of Draymond assaulting Tari three separate times. Somehow Tari receives the technical.

NBA referees sign non-disclosure agreements for a reason.

 

I can live with Sengun forcing that shot but im tired of our starting sg being unplayable in a close game. He has to go.

 

Adams coming out was a mistake. Should of let him take the free throws.

Jalen Green not playing down the stretch and his overall performance, in such an important game, says a lot.

I hope he does some soul searching and comes back strong for game 5 but he’s a disappointment.

 

You arent going to win a close game in that building. The NBA wants Curry in the 2nd round. Its shortsided because GS would get trounced vs minnesota.

You let the game come down to butler getting the home whistle on a hand graze at a hip and acting like he died. Ticky Tack foul in an aggressive game. Refs will choose to help GS every chance they get. Cant let it come down to that.

 

How the **** and why the **** did Udoka not just keep Adams in the game to shoot free throws during the hack a Adams?

Ime’s has no idea on running offense. I mean if you are going to run the play for Sengun, just screen to get Draymond off him … Wow - he got out coached too.. got Adams out when he was protecting the paint … should have just left him on the floor
