I feel like we will be fighting the refs this whole series because the NBA doesn't want both California teams out in the first round. Buckle up.

Yeah, i was just responding to the part about him always having struggled with his scoring around the rim.

Eh a lot of times reintroducing a high usage star player back to the line up throws off the rhythm the role players had and could screw up their rhythm for this particular game.

Not to mention our original gameplan (defensively as well as offensively) was with him playing. This way you got players playing that weren't even on our scouting report. As weird as it might sound, I'm glad he's playing

Will Jeff Green come in at all this game? We know the guy can score deep and in the paint. We could have used him some last game, and Jabari needs more minutes and more passes thrown his way. At least both those guys can make their damn free throws and hit some 3's.

Must win, period. Very, very tough to comeback from being down 3-1.

Ending these MFers 'Last Ride' championship fantasy is all I want out of this team this season now. That would be equivalent of a NBA Championship for this Rockets team.

It's good Jimmy is back, he was going to come back this series any ways, win tonight and we obviously make it a series but hopefully will put some doubt into their hearts.

Need the offense to capitalize on the defense making stops and go on a decent run.

So many times the Rockets could've had double digit leads in this series.

Curry with 52.6% FG and 45.2% 3pt shooting in playoffs, which are vastly better than his shooting 44.8% and 39.7% in regular season.

I highly doubt we play good defense on Curry. Amen is not playing good D on him.

I have this crazy feeling that J hangs 32 on them tonight, and the Tax Man even scores 5. This will be a Rockets win.

To me this game is the final exam on:

    a. Udoka -- if he stays stubborn with his rotations, it just proves that he will need to be replaced for the Rockets to truly be any threat. It is not like this is his first playoff. He has been to the finals before, and he should have a better handle on managing lineups, offensive flow, and match ups. Kerr has outclassed him twice. Unless the Rockets luck into a player who is going to be a future top 10 all time great, they will need a much better coach than Udoka to win a title.

    b. FVV -- if he stays cold, then there absolutely no reason to extend him. If he wants to stay at a significant discount, sure but only if there are team options/non-guaranteed money for the 2nd year. Also, he should have to compete for minutes/starting/clutch time role.

Udoka is a coach of year nominee. He won’t be going anywhere.

Fvv on the other hand is a problem.

Coach of the Year nominees/winners get fired soon after their "great season" all the time when they fail to maintain it or make the next jump.
