Remember when those nuns helped the Von Trapp family escape? Trump would want the nuns sent to the gas chamber.

MAGA is going to burn it all down to expel the browns and to suppress the blacks. Where is General Sherman when you need him?

If it was an administrative warrant, it was still a ballsy move to obstruct. Maybe her goal was to get arrested and draw attention to the unwelcome ICE in her courtroom.

And he got sentenced to nothing and they were all pardoned. Then Trump had the supreme Court basically say the President is above the law. Right now his administration is definitely ignoring court orders.

Thank goodness OJ was held accountable since he was charged.

Now that the FACTS show that this is not the case, would you like to retract your statement or would you just prefer to just be a propaganda mouth piece for a wannabe fascist regime?

Her crime was…. Telling the guy and his lawyer he can use the door to the hallway that led to the hallway where the ice agent was so he can just walk right past them.

Nothing i said was outrageous enough for the need to retract.

Yeah I forget. As long as you aren’t screaming and yelling, misrepresenting facts aka lying is totally acceptable.

Haha, I said "if" and "maybe" to start both sentences. You break out an article saying it is gospel. Neither of us know what happened but apparently you know exactly the sequence and extent of the events.

Insincere debating is pretty much all the right has left online.

Everyone here knows you know what the Trump admin is doing to our Bill of Rights is fascism. The last refuge you people have is bad faith trolling.

I don't know if the FBI has a case. I don't want to cosplay a lawyer today. In general, my attitude is that if you have a case, go ahead and prosecute. But, I do nevertheless think it's pretty outrageous to charge the judge. This case is at the seam of the authorities of the executive and judicial branches. As such, charging the judge is not merely a discipline on the judge -- its a direct challenge to the power of the judicial branch. Its asserting, essentially, that the executive has unchecked, unilateral authority over everyone without papers that supersedes the authority of the courts when their claims compete. So, while I don't really care what happens to the judge, I recognize that if the FBI prevails on it, it's another fascist nail in the coffin.

Probably posted but they won't rule out USSC judges (as they shouldn't if this were a purely legal, rational move).

    Not-so-humble-brag -

Went to school with Sam von Trapp for a couple of years, who is the grandson. The family owns a ski lodge in Vermont or something. They did a'aight once they got away from the Nazis.

Not what happened. Did you want to comment on what actually did happen?

Or maybe Trump could take a day off from clearly violating the law. Do you want to argue that the laws Trump is breaking are needing to be broken and want to argue against the constitution??… go for it. Otherwise if you are here to whine about outrage I suggest you whine about the person actually causing the outrage.

So which one is it? Are you going to argue that it’s a good thing to violate the law or are you going to direct your anger at the one breaking the law?

We haven't had a constitutional crisis since - the Patriot Act, forcing people to stay home and forcing family members to social distance in their own home. Force the closure of private institutions and non profits. Force people into taking vaccines or risk losing their job. But none of them are worse than kicking dead beats out of this country.
