Even McFail replaced Terrence Jones with Josh Smith in the starting lineup in Game 5 against the Clippers back in 2015. Is Ime gonna make any changes before this team is down 3-1 and trailing by 15 in the second half of an elimination game?

$40 million role players are not it.
If the Rockets are truly trying to win championships, they have to convert their assets to better talent. I hope Stone thinks about using Fred, or Dillon as a trade piece with their salary slots, picks and redundant talent to get an upgrade in shot making.

ok not firing all cylinders but respectable numbers.

if jalen truly believes he's the best player from his class, he needs to elevate his game up during the playoffs. whatever he's doing is barely working.

I know they’re young and the second seed, but it feels like this team has peaked, especially green and maybe sengun.

Almost feels like it’s time for a rebuild. Everyone, including amen, is available in a trade.

Only players I’m still high on are amen and cam.

Anyone think Cam would let Curry lock him up or would Cam get by Curry and wear him out with his physicality?

Next game just counter the slip screen dump off to Payton giving them multiple looks.

    -trap quickly
    -show and recover
    -roll with the slip
-zone type defense with the top key defender ready for that slip

The traps have to come quickly. Times when payton slips it was too late and loose. Screen defender needs to jump out and seal off curry. The ball defender also needs to jump over that screen and trap if they decide to trap. But They have to be more judicious trapping. If its a real screen and curry tries to turn the corner then jump out and trap. Look for these fake screens and slips.

Anyone still remember those games we lost to Spurs without Leonard, and Warriors without Curry?

I'm up for trying anything. Even in spurts it would help. Just ask Kerr bring in his bench brigade to throw a wrench

Where did this mentality come from that you have to shorten the rotation in the playoffs? Why is that necessary? If you achieved regular season success by playing 9 or 10 guys, why not let that carry over into the postseason? The Warriors pre-KD had a great bench and Kerr didn't arbitrarily stop using them in the playoffs. Hell, his current bench ain't even that good, but he still trusted them enough to give them minutes tonight and it paid off.

Yep...they were much more successful than we were. Got in JG's head early...not getting in Curry's head unfortunately.

100%... Post got like 30 minutes.. Hield got tons of time, but we can't Play Holiday, Reed, Jeff Green and Cam whitmore even 1 single minute... holy **** that's bad can someone reach out to Ime... He has the depth to keep running on this team, and not tire out our defenders so that they can't even close out on shooters in the second half and they can't even make layups or free throws because they're too worn out and tired. Common mannnnnnn you HAVE players capable on the bench

Fred is one of the worst point guards. He can’t dribble or get past his guy. All he’s there for is 3s. We are paying Brent price 40 mill

Yeah, I've been saying Amen is not ready to be PG. He has no plan when he has the ball other than trying to break down his defender off the dribble. He relies on his hang time to scan the floor to pass when he's met with a crowd under the basket. He still doesn't have a good sense on how an offensive possession develops. That's the main thing a PG needs to do.

Warriors have been in our way many years now. Just tired of watching them end our season. Just a tough pill to swallow.
