I'll say this on Sanders...... I don't think it's hype. I do think he can be a successful pro in the right system. Him being asked to be a savior is probably too far and the wrong situation for him. That means a team like the Giants with their coach and GM jobs on the line would struggle to mesh well with him.

I could see New Orleans if nothing else than Moore is a former QB and he's a rookie coach with plenty of leash to figure things out. Pittsburgh could be a fit for the same reasons as New Orleans in Tomlin having security + their collection of weapons being good enough to allow him to shine. Cleveland is Cleveland and even if it's ok to good, they'll find a way to mess it up ala Mayfield.

I do think there are other teams we should be talking about more for Sanders : Vegas, LA Rams, Indianapolis. That last one might be a shocker, but think about it. They're missing a QB, let's be real. If they were smart and he continues to slide, why not? He's now cheap and if AR sucks like we know he will, he could ride in as the cheap potential savior. If it doesn't work, you move on.

Sanders is an old school QB. He's not the genetic freak that is Lamar or Allen and that's why he's sliding. He's more Jared Goff, Geno Smith. Most franchises want the next Lamar or Josh and thats' why guys like Dart went before him, not because of his lack of QB skills. All it takes is value to meet up with an ok-ness to have a traditional drop back guy and we'll see him go.

Day 2’s I’d roll with 5 of any of these 14 I liked the most.

Gotta nab a WR and a RG or OT too play it
And the rest is giving more depth and competition.

WR - maybe two Bech, Royals, Horton
OT/G - maybe two Ersery, Ratledge, J. Wilson, Mbow

    TE Helm
    HB K. Johnson, Sampson
    DT A. Collins
    EDGE Scourton
    S Emmanwori

seems like every draft talking head has Burden as BPA and/or a Texans target, which means we will get sniped at pick 33

I hope we sign either Fatukasi if DT is ignoring bigger need and either find a reserve G/C in the sixth or a veteran FA reserve like W. Hernandez.

Other 6th rounder and 7th is the best special teams DB to compete with Ross, Tremond and Stewart for those bubble spots.

I hope Cleveland takes Sanders and doesn't screw us by taking Ersery, Ratledge, etc.

So who do you want to take first tonight? I guess my choice is Aireontae Ersery. Maybe he can play RT this year and Fisher can move inside or to the bench. If Ersery works out he can be our LT of the future starting in 26'.

    That won’t screw one iota.

it leaves value picks for us and significantly leverage to trade down a couple of picks for a QB needy team or someone that REALLY likes Will Johnson.

Not even close. Strong was never considered 1st round talent.

He was by some at some stage. But he was a bigger receiver and had more production against poorer competition.
Burden is definitely faster and less of a physical player.

Gotta disagree here. Dart is nowhere near being a generic freak and we’ve seen guys like Young, Stroud, Maye, Penix, Nix all drafted really higher despite being run of the mill athletes for the most part.

At the end, this is a pretty weak QB class and don’t think teams were wanting to attach their immediate future on a QB this year. Think it is even more so for Sanders who would immediately be in the spotlight over the team.

What? We sniped ourselves and traded again? Hypothetical trade in a mock?

Barring changes, I believe 99 is a comp pick between 3 and 4 which is chosen today.
