playoff basketball is awesome isn't it. I think the team showed last night that they aren't scared of this Warriors team particularly Draymond and Curry. I thought the team played good defense on Curry, he wasn't as effective as the first game.

 

Yah, don’t waste your time discussing team performance with people who disagree with you. Eye roll.

 

lmao the fact fans of that fcking team have the stones to call another team or player dirty is hilarious.

 

SVG is infuriating to listen to. I know he's always been a huge fan of the Warriors and Curry but his commentary last night was borderline unprofessional.

 

I really just do not care in the slightest.

I hope for the next decade I hear about how overly physical and dirty the Rockets are.

I hope teams complain to the officials and to Adam Nosferatu Silver that the Rockets are cheaters and mean.

Amen Thompson needs to keep it up - he needs to back down to no one, and he needs to beat on every defensive assignment he has to the point where they are sore getting on the plane leaving Houston.

It is about time that someone pulled Sengun aside and explained to him that there IS a way to make up for limited lateral quickness, he needs to put his hands on players under the basket, he needs to throw his size and strength around more often and hit guys off balance - so next time the perhaps do not jump for a rebound without a firm footing, or try to sneak in a layup.

In football, great offensive lines wear down the defense and capitalize by the 4th quarter - great defenses in basketball are the same way. The Rockets have some guys that can win physical battles in the trenches.

Ramp up the physical in the playoffs

No nerve struck at all. I was a little riled up from the game and a few bourbons didn't hurt. Don't think I was acting tough. And if you don't know who I am, I'm not sure why I should care about that. There's tens of thousands of members here. Why should anyone know everyone? I may not post in the GARM all that often anymore...can't imagine why that would be. Such a burn about how many likes I have. Really got me there. I definitely base my happiness on the amount of likes I get here.

Just think that talking s*** about a dude who just went off is weak. I don't think Jalen is the second coming but someone had to step up with offense after game 1 and he did.

If you want to play clean against with GSW you definitely will be eliminated

 

I expect the Rockets to get a rough whistle in the first game at GS, especially if Butler is out. Warriors are going to come out on fire and their crowd will be loud. They just need to be able to withstand a furious start and not fall too far behind.

 

It really is crazy 40M FVV has been so bad. For that contract we need at least 1 blow up game from him.

 

Good win last night and love to see Jalen respond the way he did. Amen is up next for a breakout playoff performance for game 3.

 

Anyone else still feeling afterglow?

 

Not saying Kuminga/Post/Pencer etc equals Jimmy by any means, but their production was pretty good last night (Post hit like 5 threes right?) and they can't all play... if FVV can wake up (and Sengun be a little more aggressive in the 2nd half) then I feel like we offset these things.

They have experience in spades, but if it's a chippy series... then that favors us and we're the defensive and rebounding aggressors. If we shoot avg and can get a 1/3 of our threes, I think we take it.

Ultimately though... if both teams healthy, this is more like a 2/3 matchup instead of a 2/7, but oh well.

After winning more than 50gms, this is all icing. Chomp down that experience, and whatever happens come back next year ready to take the league by storm.

 

Warriors old guys are benefiting from these extended breaks between games. 3 days between both Game 1-2 and Game 2-3 is pretty nuts. We need to drag them into a long series when their is only 1 day between games. Curry/Draymond/Butler* will tire out.
