Some teams have figured out that Jalen needs space to operate. Throw a couple of defenders at him, have someone stick close to him on the perimeter, or pack the paint so he can't get a clean drive to the hoop... and he becomes mostly ineffective. Give him a little space and his physical gifts can hurt you, but deny him that space and you've solved the problem.
This is why I think Amen should start at point and bring in someone like KD in as a shooter. Green needs someone who can attack the paint and put pressure on them to draw the defense along with more shooters like KD and Jabari in the starting line up. Starting FVV, Amen, Sengun doesnt help Jalen at all
Bro played 50 playoff games and hasn't played well? Definitely he's **** then. What was I thinking? For a second there I thought we were all going to give up on players after one bad playoff game. Nah, not you basketball intellectuals. Couldn't be.
You guys just dont like Jalen and have a fantasy of the Rockets with a 16 man european roster from Turkey.
Obviously a bust. You get one game and anyone who asks for patience is a cult follower, not at all rational thinkers like those who desperately need a bad game from Jalen to feel good about posting here.
Its not about Jalen's skill, its about his mental. Thats why he can has such swings in gameplay. This is something thats been know for years and I don't understand why people think thats going to change.
We've had four years of patience hahahaha. Jalen stans are more entertaining than what Jalen contributes on the court.
See a strong willed person, wouldn't have to deactivate, they would just have the willpower not to look. It is a problem that he worries what people say about him, none of that matters......Social media is 100% BULLSHIT..... DD
You are half right. A strong willed person would be able to look at it and have a "b**** I will show you next game" attitude.
I don't think it is asking for patience but the greasy argumentation that resembles zealot talks........ How they have that boner thing in their writing.....or that thing in their voices if you can hear them. Unfortunately it is not even subtle.
We desperately need Jalen to go into an "up" swing of his up and down career. He was more consistent this year but still very streaky with good and bad streaks.
How? Kevin Durant won't magically transform Jalen into a better decision maker. Jalen will likely continue to drive into a wall of defenders in the paint. He struggles to create an advantage, even against a player like Curry. Instead of scanning the court for open looks, he often dives into traffic and gets blocked 80% of the time. At this point, no one can change Jalen’s habits, after four years, he’s still making rookie mistakes. I’m tired of hearing that Jalen will improve drastically; he won’t. His future is as a microwave scorer off the bench.
