Cade is way better than Jalen. He always was. Anyone who wouldn’t trade Jalen for Cade is an imbecile.
Looking like the 2021 class is gonna be the best class since Lebron's class. They dont look like they will have a generational talent like a Lebron but seems like there's a lot of all star level talent in the class already blossoming just 3 yrs after the draft.
Cade is balling. He could be a MVP in the future if he keeps this up. Like his game. Patient, and plays like he's in slow motion. Smart player. He's way better than Green lol.
He was number 1 overall for a reason. When somebody is gonna be a star they show it immediately, or they show visible improvement their first 5 years like he has. They don't just randomly become one with ever so light improvements, however much fans may want to cope.
He didn't win rookie of the year but he has closed the gap by improving a lot in recent years. Watched him in person, was super impressed.
I've always felt that Cade played with a poise that is fairly rare in young players, even when he was pretty bad on a terrible team in his rookie year. He kind of reminded me of the young Chris Paul, only much bigger.
"They show it immediately... or in five years" I mean I mostly get what you're getting at, but this just sounded hilarious to me.
Cade always had it, it was about asserting yourself and playing more physically and using your body in a high contact sport.
Every excuse we had with Silas, the Pistons had tenfold with Monty. That guy wasn't just bad, he was actively sabotaging them so he'd get fired after securing his retirement fund.
The real story on Monty Williams coaching style will never be told because he has such a nice persona.
