    Wasn't the reason we lost.

FVV shot better this season than what he did last night. On open and wide open threes if he made them at the rates he shot them in the regular season, he would have made 2 more threes last night. I think 6 points in a ten-point loss is kind of a big deal.

On limiting his role, the Rockets have Green, Amen, and FVV as guards with FVV still probably being the best PG. Limiting the minutes of a PG even one that is efficient passing, but inefficient shooting is a recipe for a disaster.

FVV vs the Warriors this year: 14-64

Jalen vs the Warriors this year: 24-75

That is a combined 27% from the field.

Surely it can only get better, right?

We lost the game in the 2nd quarter. We won the 1st and 3rd and only lost the 4th by 1pt.

The double big lineup did not come through even if Adams really shined.

You all are overreacting. It was a good game up until the last few minutes.

it sucks but we are fine.

17 turnovers, terrible shooting by our starting front court. a bunch of missed 3s and free throws vs gsw made a bunch of tough shots all night. ...even Amen missed handful of shots at the rim he usually makes. a bunch of things could have been better that would have resulted in a different game. we only need to figure out how to fix a few. lets start with the thing we can control - turnovers and the free-throw line.

This game perfectly exhibited everything people doubting the Rockets' playoff chances were citing - mostly the inability to score enough in the halfcourt. Amen, Jalen, Tari and Jabari in the first half all had a deer in the headlights look, which is not surprising given it's their first playoff. FVV and Dillon had no excuse to be as bad as they were. Props to Sengun for playing well.

    Thankfully it's just 1 game.

This loss was not on DB at all. He only took 9 shots in 34 mins, committed 10-12 fouls and only got called for 3. He even tried to instigate Draymond and Butler on different occasions but they were smart enough not to take the bait because they learned from the previous game.

Fred is definitely one of the donkeys you can pin the tail on.

You can't simulate the playoffs. This is how it has to happen. There's no leap frogging the learning process. It takes time and patience to get to the playoffs. It takes just as much time and patience to advance in them. This echoes through history. Take in the sights and sounds as you get carried along from the past to the future.

That play just shows you Jalen has limited court awareness. He is fully capable of blowing by Curry. But Draymond was there playing safety guarding nobody. So it's obvious that somebody would be wide open. Yeah, Dillon was at the far side all by himself. And it wasn't even a difficult pass. Dillon raise his hands to tell Jalen he's open. And there was no defender between Jalen and Dillon. Yet, he still put up a heavily contested shot.

No sweat. We can always get the ball back with our superior offensive rebounding. ;)

He's lower down on the list but definitely did not play well. 3-9 with the second worst +/- on the team. But yes I did overstate how bad he was.
