Was not the best start but some good insights and moments I think this will be the worse game of the series for our BackCourt Bari - Adams - Sengun line up gave GS Hell Dunno why we took them out the last 2~3 minutes of the game The Rockets have the players to win this series but They have to play Rocket Ball Smart ball Bad backcourt - Situational poor refs - GS hitting ridiculous shots - poor coaching decision and we were within 4 points with 3 minutes to go Rockets still in this Rocket River
Honestly, they can't play much worse and were within 4 late in the 4th. Golden State should have put them away easily, but they didn't. I'm concerned because I thought Houston would play much better than they did, but it's not the end of the world. They can come back from this.
I don't think it is panic to realize that Udoka's all Rebound and Defense is pretty ugly offensively and we knew that for 2 years now.
Yes but they need this game 2 or else its curtains. Does a sweep forcer Stone to go all in on a star? i can see it
Just got back from the game. Young players and inexperienced, they’ll perform better the next few games.
The problem with “can’t get worse” is we aren’t necessarily getting a performance that good from Sengun every single game.
lol the panic reaction to losing in the playoffs is Booker who cant even drag his team to play in. Suns are 3-17 without KD. Some star Booker is lol
I might be wrong but I do not see it as a sweep yet, the Rockets are not the Grizzlies, they are tougher and they have not fired their coach. Even the Grizzlies can win one random game. Maybe trade up for Flagg or Dybantsa would have been good.
Let's see what happens during the full series, some of this was definitely expected. Playoff experience is rough and young teams grow from it. Sengun played well, Adams and our double bigs translated. Jabari's size and shooting translated so far. We'll see how the young guys adjust, we came back and got it within two possessions, and our resilience translated.
Why can’t we panic? Sure, the roster is what it is for the most part however of us saw the lack of shooting and lack of bench scoring. What did Stone do at the deadline? Absolutely nothing. He basically wrote this year off as an experience year and is letting them just fall flat on their face.
I guess you can believe a previous MVP, finals MVP, NBA Champ, 8 time all star, 30 ppg, 12 rebounds per game player in his prime is not a star because he lost in the 1st round, but I guarantee that if he asks for a trade, the Rockets will want a seat at the table.
