I mean we got back in the game with certain players and then for some reason decided to close out the game with the players who were like 3 for 57 expecting them to get hot or something I don't know.

Tari, Bari, Adams, Sengun, should have finished that game. FVV is fine in that lineup since we need a PG but that's it.

 

Jabari and Holiday need to play more. Eason looked pretty good this game and that was encouraging.

thats the offense Ime wants to run with FVV and Alpi.. slow it down, get it into post.. eat up shot clock - the problem is…that offense sucks for Amen and JG

both of them can’t get to rim against set defenses because of spacing yet we faced GS set defense 98% of the game

 

The Warriors actually weren’t even that good tonight. We just suck defensively.

Yeah, Kerr really did such a great job coaching Curry to hit ridiculous threes/shots all game. That was the difference in this game - they have a superstar offensive player. We don’t.

We win this game easily if you swapped out FVV with KD.

 

Our backcourt sucks so much. At least Reed has been nailed to the bench all year and we have no idea if he’s ready to start next year.

 

52 Rebounds to 36 Rebounds, most teams win games getting that many Rebounds except..... The more VanVleet shoots, the lesser chance the Rockets win. Simply, he is like Draymond Green of PG. The more both shoots the ball, the lesser chance the team wins. GM should of traded him away when we had the chance with so many PGs. VanVleet is the next Jose Abreu unless he can outshine Curry in the Series.

 

Fvv green amen playing so bad is a rare combination. With the missed fts, curry making some crazy shots, it was still a winnable game. If they do not collapse, warriors will wear out as the series goes on. It is not as bad as it feels now. Still quite doable unless our backcourt keeps playing like this.

 

Amen and Jalen were off tonight. If anything we should be optimistic Curry shot 12-19 and hit a bunch of threes from 28+ feet out.

If Jalen doesn't show up this series we will also know who we are going to pay and build around in the long term. Rockets in 6 or 7. I don't see Jalen and Amen being non-factors for the rest of this series. Sengun showed up.

 

This is the difference. GS was running actual plays. No one on the Rockets can create their own shot at will outside of Sengun. Coach didn't even feed him down low in the paint to open shots for other guys. It's the coach's job to runs plays to players strengths. They look like they are just doing whatever they want out there. The only time Adams should be receiving the ball at the top of the key is to set a giant pick for a hand off to a shooter coming off that screen.

 

Amen played much better in the second half.

I'm not extending FVV for $40M. That's ridiculous for his production. Time to draft or trade for a capable pg.

 

Amen was shell shocked but more than likely jitters. Jalen G., pretty much sucked.

 

My only post until the next game: We almost pulled out a lead with Jalen and Fred playing like ass and Amen not finding his shooting touch until late in the third.

We have more than a chance to win this series--the Warriors punched us in the mouth first, but our boys are about to jump right back and roundhouse kick them in the head.

Sengun is the real deal. Regardless of how any of our other players play in the next couple of games, having playoff debut like this MATTERS.

Jabari hit some big shots, too, and Tari played with energy--if not total control.

A big turning point in the game was Curry's three off of the wrong out-of-bounds call. But we kind of deserved it for blowing our challenge on a pretty obvious play.

Next game is going to be different. I am POSITIVE. People are acting like the series is over after one game. It's far from over.
