Love Jack Nelson and Kansas RT as OG prospects. There should be some playmakers there at 3-79 and 3-89. I'm hoping for Terrance Ferguson/Brashard Smith there. These guys are playmakers, then you've got the DT depth and maybe even a S like Makuba available in that range.

This presents a true dilemma. We picked Banks OT who was unexpectedly available at 25. This is 58.

    35. Jalen Milroe QB Alabama - No. A luxury we don't need.

    49. Jaylin Noel WR Iowa State - A true weapon in an area of need.

    51. Wyatt Milum OG West Virginia - Meet's our greatest need.

    55. Azareye'h Thomas CB Florida State - A luxury we could use,

    56. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio State - A luxury we could use.

@cmoak1982 thanks brother! I intend to come back better and stronger after I get "replumbed". I've likely needed this tuneup for years, but the loss of my oldest son to the window maker in Nov forced me to get checked up. His sacrificed likely saved me, but I would have traded my life for his a million times over. God, the Universe, whatever you believe in has more for me to do. After rehab I'll get back on it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! Go Stros and Rockets!!

As any father would do, glad that there is at least a positive out of it all.
Hopefully a smooth procedure and recovery brother

Nelson feels like a guy that goes in the later rounds, but carves out a nice career. His dad was OL @ Wisconsin and was drafted by NFL, so he's been brought up right with a HOG mentality... https://sportstalk.substack.com/p/jack-nelson-wisconsin-2025-nfl-draft

Depending on what we do early in the draft, he could be a target in the 5th at #166...

Love Ferguson and Smith in 3rd. Here's a good, balanced look at Terrance for those unfamiliar with him...

Brashard is a weapon we need! His change of direction and vision are superb for a converted WR, and he can catch as well. Ignore this guy's voice, but he does a good job of highlighting Smith's difference making ability...

I know you're a UT guy and Makuba is fantastic, I'm just not sure we have much room for him this year after our trade with Philly.

If I could have only one of the guys you mention above it would be Smith. Believe he would bring a new dynamic for Caley and CJ to exploit defenses with and we need playmakers. Ferguson would be next. I really want to add another TE to our room and he's got starting potential.

A man shouldn't outlive his children, It's been 28 years now and it's still like yesterday. Much like sobriety, it's still one day at a time. May God preserve you for his purposes.

    1. Anybody know why Jared Harrison-Hunte a DT out of SMU is not talked about at all in the draft? I know he was a Shrine bowl invitee. I was watching another prospect and I couldn't watch the other prospect anymore because Jared was making such a huge impact on the game. He's very comparable to the other top DT's in the draft

Logan Brown right? Like him as a sleeper in the later round as well.

I like Brown, but I'm talking about their OT Bryce Cabeldue. Big dude that can move. He's going to make a fine OG in the NFL IMHO.

Thanks @Kemahkeith! Truly shocked me and my wife because I don't feel bad and I'm in good shape for an ol' man. ;)
