we have the Supreme Court and the judicial branch literally interpreting the law (as is detailed by the separation of powers in the constitution) , passing said interpretation and the the executive branch disregarding this and issuing some bullshit executive order. you can’t get buthurt about the things you alluded to while ignoring that the foundation of our democracy is being challenged for the first time. We survived a brutal civil war that paved the way to slowly erode constitutional rights. To get this worked up over a simple 48-hour ICE hold is silly. The process worked. The individual was released promptly once the mistake was identified.

We must seek to create change in crime patterns, illegal immigration patterns, and other areas so that honest, upstanding citizens are not lumped in and treated like the law breakers who just happen to look like them. Starts with a root cause analysis and sustainable fixes. Trump is taking us to this place.
