    Karen was arguably a better drummer then a singer, but she had an angelic voice as well....

    Edit: my mom is a Nesmith from Channelview, born in Palestine TX, Michael was her cousin.

    Knowing MB from past posts I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the reasoning was that one was clean clean, clean (and fabricated) and the other was deep into the devil's lettuce and hallucinogens. The Van Cliburn flips all that upside down since he was playing for the other team the entire time. :rolleyes:
