This happened in Frisco, I assume it would be prosecuted and tried there. Google says Frisco is 48% white, 27% asian, 8.5% black, 7.7% two or more races. I would be curious to know what the DAs office thinks about the jury pool for a case like this.

Living here in DFW I will say the family and friends have definitely done their diligence to taint the jury pool. Most people in the area before hearing the facts, were told by the family through the media how great the victim was and how Karmelo Anthony was a monster. Had it been my kid I can’t say me and my community of friends wouldn’t have done the same but I will say that I wouldn’t expect a favorable jury assuming the trial happens anywhere in the DFW news sphere. I wouldn’t be surprised if the prosecution goes for broke on this one and unless Anthony has great lawyers I suspect he will be looking at rotting away in prison for life with no parole.
