I'm assuming you are comparing a teenager who traveled with their parents to America for economic opportunities to men who advocated for the dismantling of the United States in order to continue the intuition of slavery. In reality you probably have more respect for the men who fought to maintain slavery more than Latino migrant workers.

At the end of the day, we all understand you are going to take this route of "why does any of this matter anyways" shtick. It is a coward's shtick.

You haven't even once addressed the intent of a President to in bad faith make claims someone is a gang member, deport to a foreign concertation camp without due proves and tell the Supreme Court that its too late to remedy a bad faith mistake?

Oh its because you don't want to confront the argument that he is doing this in bad faith to test the waters to start claiming American citizens are illegal and gang members, ship them out and tell courts who ruled to return said individual that "its too late. Its a foreign policy issue now". |

That is what you don't want to engage in. You don't want to engage in the notion that this might be testing limitations to see if he can expand it to American citizens.

Without due process towards non-citizens, you do not have due process for citizens, as a administration now in bad faith can claim anyone they don't like as "illegal aliens".

I have no idea if Garcia is a member of MS13.

If Americans are sent to CECOT I will give the action thoughtful consideration, examine the arguments on either side of the issue and develop an opinion at that time.

So you have no idea if Donald Trump is dismantling the Bill of Rights?

SO let us inform you? We can teach you what is happening. I can tell you. I actually did if you read.

It doesn't matter what they were arguing for or against.

    That's a red herring.

They were American citizens with 1st amendment rights to express whatever sympathies they desired and were denied their civil liberties by the Lincoln Administration.

But, obviously, you're ok with the denial of civil liberties predicated on the content of speech.

    Big surprise there.

I never said the economy was great before Trump was re-elected. In fact numerous times I have said the wealth inequality in the USA is a massive and growing problem. However - if you think there are economic problems now - what do you think is going to be the economic consequences of what is happening right now. It is going to get worse - prices will continue to spike, businesses will fail as a result of the shocks and consequences of tariffs and just the mishandling of tariffs by this administration…. and people are going to react to that, and the person that is going to be blamed for that is the man in the White House.

Second - I said that the Democrats do not need a populist right this minute, I never said that the Democrats needed mainstream candidates. Someone will emerge and lead the Democrats and it will very likely be a populist and someone that will engage in class warfare. It happens - always does.

This can get very ugly - and often times the winner and loser party isn’t the one everyone expects… which is why things like not listening to the Supreme Court or throwing Due Process out the window is a huge deal…. Now it is Trump, in 4-8 years it could be someone far left that continues the abuse and takes executive privilege even further.

I have no desire to fiercely defend “my team”… I have been very critical of Joe Biden, the Democratic establishment and their flirtation with billionaires and the status quo. Indeed I was very critical of Obama claiming he would be transparent and then walking right through the expanded scope executive powers of GWB and not closing the hole but using it as precedence when he felt like it.

I don’t even agree with a lot of democrats on immigration. I support a pathway to citizenship for long term and good citizen illegal aliens that have been here for years- but I didn’t and don’t support completely open borders or letting in non citizens that come to the border.

I mean I'm beginning to. If a new candidate decides to run based on retribution and would use the expanded weaponized powers of the presidency that Trump has created with eliminating due process, I am near that point where I'm fine with using those new powers to unmask people like you and send you to CECOT.

    I'm almost there.

Yea, we know you don't care about the law.

You're an open borders [because you think it means votes for Democrats] leftist fanatic.

    No need to pretend otherwise.

Because of there exploitation right and not some nebulous claims of security right?

The influx of illegal aliens has no negative impact on Americans. They have lower violente crime rates than American born citizens and therefore lower the crime rate in America due to American women not having the birth rate to sustain the labor numbers needed for the treats economy of having 24/7 stores within 10 miles of every American fully staffed and shelved with treats.

Americans buying into the concept that here is security issue in the Southern border is a large part of how we opened the door for fascists.

It's a mistake to buy into this framing.

    LMFAO

If Americans are sent to prison in a foreign country - controlled by a foreign country… you would “develop an opinion”?

    You are dishonest.

There would be nothing to consider - it would be a MASSIVE Constitutional violation and an unacceptable violation of human rights and Constitutional protections. The fact that you would need to develop an opinion is proof you are dishonest.

Also - your boy, he has now twice said that he wants and has his Attorney General working on a way to send US citizens to a foreign prison ran by a foreign government.

That a sincere person, this would be a real concern. However you are not a sincere or serious person. You attempt to deflect or play “what aboutism”.

If people who believe my empathy for Palestinians means I'm a terrorist and deserve to go to CECOT for it like the Trump administration does, then yes my patience for the law would be minimal and I'd actively root for a political candidate to run on retribution and using the expanded powers of the executive branch that Trump has created to turn it against those who celebrated such abuses of basic civil rights.and I have that self awareness to realize I might enjoy that retribution.

It's comical that you think, even for a brief second, I need your validation.

There gave been a couple scumbags on these forums. But I am highly confident almost everyone here are good all around people. Living fully emersed in reality? Different story. Some of you never grew past the fairy tales your momma read to you as a child.

I don't have a problem with suspending certain civil liberties under circumstances where normal judicial processes cannot provide adequate remedies.

    Neither did Abraham Lincoln.

But I know you're SO about the law... such A BIG rule of law guy that you're TOTALLY FINE with 10s of millions of persons openly and flagrantly violating the laws of this country and happy to see absolutely NOTHING done about it.

    Funny how that works.

Oh, yea, examining a situation, giving it thoughtful consideration and developing an opinion.

    How controversial.

I apologize I didn't answer your HYPOTHETICAL to your satisfaction.

You never addressed my post. Do you think that Trump, as the law and order president, actually intends to deport ALL illegal aliens and collapse the agricultural and farming economies? If he doesn’t at least attempt to do so, doesn’t that make him a fraud?

And would you deport all illegal immigrants who pick our fruit, wash our dishes, mow our lawns, and bus our dishes? You better say yes because otherwise you’re a fraud as well,

Your original post stated democrats abandoned the working class. I provided 2 examples from just this week how MAGATs have raised costs for working class bcz they were lobbied by the business community. The idea that MAGATs give a **** about working class is a joke.

I wish yall right wingers were honest about the movement. Trump is the greatest sales man of our life time. Hes brainwashed a large swath of the nation to be obsessed about culture wars. He doesn't give a **** about economic populism

People with decent social intelligence can determine someone's moral character with expressions of opinions like expressing a casual disregard or even enjoyment in a man falsely accused of being a gang member being sent to a concentration camp agaisnt the orders of the United States Supreme Court.

Ya we can judge things like if someone is psychopathic based on those opinions expressed. So no I doubt you are a good person in real life.

People who defend this stuff are more likely to have some dead bodies in their basement.

That's a lot of words to simply state you would ignore 10s of millions of violations to our federal law.

You're clearly a big RULE OF LAW guy... except.. you know.. for all THOSE laws.

oh no, you completely misunderstand me. The thin veneer of credibility that you seek to maintain … that’s not for my validation or approval. You know you don’t have it and you don’t need it,

That is purely a game you play with yourself - to maintain some semblance of self respect and self image of intellectual honesty.
