Executive of the Year: Rafael Stone

He should get some serious consideration.
Who else would be in the running?

Anyone other than Pelinka winning would be utterly asinine, should be unanimous.

This isn't Rafael's year. Pelinka got the steal of the century by ****ing the dumbass Mavs FO.

I would of liked Luka to go somewhere else, but the ****ing Fakers got lucky again. **** the Mavs.

    Yeah, he won't win.

But, has as good an argument as any of the top 3 or 4.

Stone didn't get a look last year and won't get a look this year either

But people are talking up Trajan Langdon as a chance because of what he did with the Pistons

Stone did it better last year but nobody cared

What did he do this year other than trading for Cody Zeller?

I love where the team is right now but why would Stone be considered for this? Our entire rotation outside of Reed has been on the roster since before last offseason, which is the beginning of the period to be considered for this award. He could have gotten it last year but this year he did nothing. The credit goes to Udoka and the players themselves, not Stone.

Jalen Green and Sengun non max extensions.

2 PHX Suns picks and 2 swap for 1 Nets pick and 1 Net swap

Drafting Reed Sheppard who is the fav of a lot of posters here and Nfaly Dante undrafted who has looked decent after a year of training.

Those moves at the deadline that generated 2nd round picks in the future.

I still think Pelinka should win but Stone hadnt exactly sat on his ass all year.

I disagree. Even the second worst GM in the league would have made that move if they would have been fortunate enough to have Nico Harrison call them and propose a trade that stupid. This is like saying the guy who wins megamillions should be named business man of the year.

This year I would support his case for Top 5 but I think it is mostly politics.

Neither Morey nor Stone do have league wide backing.

Tilman Fertitta has better chances at Ambassador of a country than this.

I do believe Stone has been extremely lucky, and maybe the diligent are getting rewarded.

Pelinka convincing Nico to keep it between them and not tell any other team is the reason why this deal was done. Pelinka conning Ainge and the Jazz to absord JHS to make the trade work is also genius.
