I wish we paid Jimmy Butler to be a Rocket. It would have been a fun 2 years. Would we have been able to without giving anyone up?
Butler is getting every single call when he drives into the paint. Either a bucket or 2 FTs, I expect the exact same bullshit when he plays us.
That Yao team with Artest was going to win a championship, no one can convince me otherwise. Yao DOMINATED the Lakers (who went on to win that year) dominated them, he was unstoppable, it's like everything clicked for him at that moment...then got hurt.
Like with Russell Westbrook, you need to use him in spurts ......his youth and energy is still needed off the pine. Seems Kerr cannot handle him. I think it is more that he is a hot head ......
Yeah, Butler is a slimmer and more mobile Artest with a little less D....with more athleticism when he was 29.
Memphis looked like a very promising up-and-coming young team back during the 2021-22 season…now they’re a joke
Grizzlies haven't been the same since they scapegoated Dillon Brooks. They're eventually gonna have to blow it up because as constructed, they aren't sniffing the WCF any time soon. This is why it's important players have to improve every off-season or GMs have to make trades. We can't just stay put in the west, it's just too insane every year. Next year Spurs will be coming up too and it's possible Zion gets traded there in the off-season.
Ever since Ja said 'I'm fine in the West' But seriously though, this is a reminder how quick you can rise and fall. Same for Sactown
Don’t even doubt it. The NBA is going to try so hard to get us to lose. They don’t want a wasted season by Curry and Butler.
I was wondering if Bane would do something. Memphis has the right idea here, if Edey is out there make them guard him at least, but he can't pass out of the post so...
