Brown too. Although their starts are the perfect time to let Yordan play LF and someone else DH. It's a conundrum.
Shows how remarkable this stretch of Dynasty ball has been 2013 - 100+ losses 2014 - Altuve batting title '15-‘24 - playoffs every season (sans 2016 when Arlington’s 1-run luck was on steroids)
No not really. They review scouting reports and point out mechanical tweaks IF the hitter will oblige. Most MLB players have their own hitting instructor. When the team is slumping, its entirely the hitting coach’s fault and he or others should be fired ASAP. When the team is hot and raking, its entirely because the players are well, MLB hitters, all stars. Not ONE time did Cintron's name come up in the14-3 win. Is Cintron now responsible for consistency as well?
This implies that it’s always been a knee jerk reaction by fans that criticize the hitting coaches, based on game by game results. This was never the case though. It’s knee jerk to defend the hitting coaches of a bad hitting team after one good game.
I think they needed a change just for a different voice, maybe a different approach, who knows. Check the off-season threads, how many were calling for Cintron to be replaced before we got here? No one that I can see so yea it's been pretty much if there's a slow start "fire the hitting coach" mantra.
For me it's the damn A on the hat, reminds me of the Arizona A. Someone said it but the unis with a normal logo hat would be good....
