This implies that it’s always been a knee jerk reaction by fans that criticize the hitting coaches, based on game by game results. This was never the case though. It’s knee jerk to defend the hitting coaches of a bad hitting team after one good game.
I think they needed a change just for a different voice, maybe a different approach, who knows. Check the off-season threads, how many were calling for Cintron to be replaced before we got here?
