I still think the best outcome in the post-globalization world are geographic super economies. Our trade with Mexico and Canada should be much more important than our trade with Europe or Asia.
If a post globalization world also means reverting technology then sure. But when modern tech devices need material sources that come from 20 different countries then this regional economic system you desire seems out of reach. The bill of materials for a manufactured product pre microprocessor revolution was significantly smaller than the bill of materials for a modern manufactured product.
Hey Stevie Wonder, you can't see two posts above yours? Get this troll a walking cane and a guide dog...
Trolls use the ignore feature? That's news to me cause he follows you around in the stock thread like you're Nancy Pelosi.
soon our receipts are gonna start looking like we bought something off Uber Eats minus the tip…item more expensive plus a tariff fee along with the tax
And because we’re Americans we can do it in 90 days before the tariffs kick in - again. Not the decades it took China to do it. All while being anti-science and cutting research and education funding.
Agreed, I actually prefer it being a line item that jumps out at you and not baked into the price, it will be a small reminder how stupid this self-inflicted BS really is. I am sure suck up tim cook will "absorb" any "fees" on iPhones Has elmo started building all of is cars here yet along with all the parts, should be any day right?
90 days...150 deals... "The deals are going to come very quickly...very quickily...one after another...the likes of which you've never seen!!! It's going to be a GREAT BIG DEALS TSUNAMI!!! I almost said SALAMI!! Mmm. Great Big Deals Tsunami...and I'm going to be riding the wave on my Presidential Surfboard!!! We're almost there!!! PATIENCE!!!" - Nobody in Particular
I think that is the obvious statement. The basic question is how do we get our country united together again to revitalize our economy? For example, you can use biometrics to pay for goods in China. The 1970s Christians will tell you that is the mark of the beast. The liberals will tell you it's a private concern, despite zero privacy at all. It's all utter stupidity. And stop defending poor managed funds. I dont care if it's called 'Put a billion dollars a day in this fund and Jesus will heal cancer' fund
